Make You Mine is the cross between a second chance romance and a brothers-best-friend novel. It was sweet and emotional, and brought out so many feelings for Drew and Gray. I was captivated in the story, just waiting for these two to get back together and put their pain behind them.
I did think the romance was a little one sided at points, where it felt like Drew was trying much harder than Gray. Overall I liked that she was s determined not to let him get away again but I kept looking for that same determination from Gray. I did feel the connection between them though and enjoyed it.
Overall, this was a great book full of romance and sweetness, with some angst thrown in. I also loved the secondary characters that were featured and I can't wait to them get their own story.
“Your daddy’s right.” Gray looked at me with tortured blue eyes that contradicted every word he said. “You’re so young. You don’t know what you want.”
I only kissed him again, crawled onto his lap again, put his hands on me and made us forget my disapproving father, my overprotective brother. Neither of them had been there for me the way Grayson always had.
“I know what I want…”
