ABOUT EASY FOR KEEPS:

Adam Spencer loves women. All women. Every shape and size, regardless of hair or eye color, religion or race, he simply enjoys them all. Meeting more than his fair share as the manager and head bartender of The Odyssey, a hot spot in the heart of New Orleans’ French Quarter, Adam’s comfortable with his lifestyle, and sees no reason to change it. A wife and kids, plus the white picket fence are not in the cards for this confirmed bachelor. Until a beautiful woman, and her sweet princess, literally knock him on his ass.

Sarah Cox has just moved to New Orleans, having accepted a position as a social worker specializing in at-risk women and children. It’s a demanding, sometimes dangerous job, but Sarah is no shy wallflower. She can handle just about anything that comes at her, even the attentions of one sexy Adam Spencer. Just because he’s charmed her daughter, making her think of magical kingdoms with happily ever after, doesn’t mean that Sarah believes in fairy tales. But the more time she spends with the enchanting man, the more he begins to sway her into believing in forever.
Even so, when Sarah’s job becomes more dangerous than any of them bargained for, will she be ripped from Adam’s life forever?

“Having trouble?” I ask and grin when she looks up at me in surprise. Hailey is buckled into the back seat now and waves at me with a big smile, and I wave back.

“It was running fine when I left the apartment and came here.” She sighs and lays her forehead against the steering wheel. She’s a pretty woman. She has curves in all the right places, but doesn’t wear clothes that hug them. Her hair is long and just begging for fingers to thread through it.
And her lips are plump and damn kissable. Especially when she bites them the way she’s doing right now as she lifts her head and looks up at me.

“Sounds like your battery is dead.”

“Great,” she replies and blows out a breath.

“Do you have someone you can call?”

She hesitates and then shakes her head no. She’s not quick to trust, that’s for sure, and for some reason, that makes me want to try to help all the more.

It’s been a while since a woman was a challenge.

“We just moved here,” Hailey informs me.

“Hailey—”

“It’s okay,” I reply. “I can call you a tow truck. I know a guy.”

She nods.

“But I have to tell him your name.”

“Sarah,” she replies. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to be rude.”

“Hey, stranger danger. I get it.” I nod and text my friend, then stare at the two girls for a moment. I can’t just leave them here.

“I can take you wherever you needed to get to.”

“No,” Sarah replies immediately.

“Look, let’s start again. My name’s Adam. I’ve never been arrested for anything, and I’ve received two speeding tickets in my life. I co-own a bar in the Quarter, and that’s why I haven’t been to bed yet today. I can give you references to call if you really want them.”

Her lips twitch into a slight smile and her eyes calm. They’re not just brown. They’re rich, dark chocolate.

And she has a kid. Just be a Good Samaritan and go home to bed.

Easy For Keeps - Tour teaser 2

Holy cuteness, Batman! This book had it all; the adorable little girl, the smoldering heat between her mom and the hot bartender, and the bit of suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat. The relationship that Sarah's daughter had with Adam, though, that was everything this book needed. It took it from a sweet common romance, to a fantastic story that melted my ovaries.

Adam is the bartender that we met in Easy Melody that now co-owns The Odyssey with Callie. He's your typical hot guy bartender, sleeping with the women that throw themselves at him and never wanting to settle down. Then he meets Sarah and her princess little girl, and things change. He starts to feel things he never thought he would. Are these emotions scary? Hell yes! Does he care? No, Sarah is his - that's all he cares about.

For such a short book, this sure did have a lot of things going on. I liked that Kristen Proby was able to fit so many different scenes within the story that had me impatiently waiting for the end to come I was just so anxious to get finished so I knew what was going to happen with Sarah and Adam. From the beginning I knew something was going to happen, but didn't know exactly what it was, so I was hanging on to every word, anticipating what was to come.

Bottom line, this was the perfect read to enjoy in one sitting. The relationship was fast paced and easy, but there wasn't anything that was missed because of the shortness of the story. I really liked learning more about Adam, but now i'm even more impatient for the next Boudreaux series book.

Cash Remington and the Missing Heiress

AP new - synopsis.jpg
I’m the best operator in the entire agency. The plum assignments—always mine. So when an American heiress goes missing, I’m the guy they call to get her back. Rescuing Collette Stanford is my mission. What I do to her after that is purely up to me, as long as she makes it back to the States in one piece. I’ll kill the bad guys, get the girl, and get a little taste of what the heiress has to offer. None of this is negotiable. I’m Cash Remington, and I never miss.

AP new - excerpt.jpg

“Collette.” I strip my shirt off and toss it onto the vanity as she walks in hesitantly, her head bowed and her eyes down. “Take the jacket off and get in the bath.”

Her shyness only taunts the beast inside me. I want her naked, showing me all her secrets and yielding to my every desire. My eyes are desperate to see all of her again, my hands over-eager to touch her soft skin. I turn the knob and stop the pour of steaming hot water.
“But you’re in here.” Her voice is so soft, like a rose petal, and color rises in her cheeks.

I strip my boxers off and walk to her. She looks up now, to avoid seeing my erection. I smile at her bashfulness as I slide my hands down the lapel of my jacket she’s still wearing. I undo the buttons as she stares at me, her eyes fearful, but also full of a heat that I want to stoke until she’s a raging fire. The jacket slides to the floor with a little push.

And now it’s just Collette and me. Nothing else between us. I tip her chin up and taste her lips for the first time. She’s tentative, unsure. I run my hand up her smooth back and tangle my fingers in her hair. Giving a slight tug, I pull her head back and slant my mouth over hers. That gets her hands on me, where I want them.

I run my tongue along the seam of her lips, daring her to open them for me. Her hands travel to my chest, my abs, and then to my back. Her breasts press into me, the tips hard and tantalizing. I need them in my mouth, but I want her surrender first. All of it. I want her to give me her virginity like a gift, something to treasure and keep, and I also need her submission. With the way she melts under my touch, I know I’ll have everything I want, and soon.

About CHARGED:

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Marked Men books comes the second installment in the Saints of Denver series featuring a bad girl and a by the book attorney who could be her salvation...or her ruin.

Avett Walker and Quaid Jackson’s worlds have no reason to collide. Ever. Quaid is a high powered criminal attorney as slick as he is handsome. Avett is a pink-haired troublemaker with a bad attitude and a history of picking the wrong men.

When Avett lands in a sea of hot water because of one terrible mistake, the only person who can get her out of it is the insanely sexy lawyer. The last thing on earth she wants to do is rely on the no-nonsense attorney who thinks of her as nothing more than a nuisance. He literally has her fate in his hands. Yet there is something about him that makes her want to convince him to loosen his tie and have a little fun…with her.

Quaid never takes on clients like the impulsive young woman with a Technicolor dye job. She could stand to learn a hard lesson or two, but something about her guileless hazel eyes intrigues him. Still, he’s determined to keep their relationship strictly business. But doing so is becoming more impossible with each day he spends with her.

As they work side-by-side, they’ll have to figure out a way to get along and keep their hands off each other—because the chemistry between them is beyond charged.

Excerpt
Avett
I blew out a breath and felt that bottom I had careened onto reach up to embrace me even tighter. “It is what it is. I’ve let both my folks down a lot over the last few years but getting caught up with a guy that would rob the bar, a guy who could threaten my dad’s people.” I shook my head. “I deserve to rot.”
I was being overly dramatic but that’s how I felt. I deserved to sit in jail and so much worse than that. Self-pity was good company down here at rock bottom and I wasn’t ready to let go of the warmth it provided just yet.
He gave me a look I couldn’t read and headed for the door. “I’ll call your parents for you and see if we can have something in place before tomorrow. Working on your case will be a lot easier for both of us if you aren’t incarcerated. Remember, you need to listen to me, Ms. Walker. That’s the first rule in all of this.”
Panic hit me like a truck. What if he called my dad and my dad told him he’d had enough of his problematic daughter and her endless nonsense? What if he couldn’t love me anymore? Jail I could survive; losing my father for good, well, it would be the end of me.
Without thinking I jumped to my feet, which had the chains on both my hands and my legs rattling loudly, and two uniformed officers hurried into the room. I was about to make maybe the worst decision to date but I couldn’t stop the words from sliding off my tongue.
“Don’t call my dad!” Recklessness, thy name was Avett Walker.
The attorney turned around and looked at me like I had grown a second head. He didn’t say anything as the officers moved to either side of me and told me to calm down.
“You can’t call my dad.” The words sounded as panicked and as desperate as I felt on the inside.
His broad shoulders lifted and fell in a shrug like he really couldn’t give a shit that he was about to ruin my life…which was saying a hell of a lot considering where I was.
“I have to.” He sounded bored and impatient with my outburst.
I narrowed my eyes at him, and that vortex of awful, which I always seemed to be smack dab in the center of, started to spin faster and faster around me.
“Then you’re fired.” I saw the cops exchange a look and my rushed words had the blond man turning fully back around to look at me. “I don’t want your help. I don’t want anything from you.”
Finally, there was something other than indifference in his gaze. There was surprise, maybe a hint of admiration colliding with a huge splash of humor in the pale depths.
“Sorry, Ms. Walker, but you didn’t hire me, so that means you don’t get to fire me.” That grin of his, which should be registered as a deadly weapon, flashed across his face again as he watched me, and then he was gone.

Okay, so if you saw my previous thoughts on this book from before I read it then you know that I was beyond nervous about liking Avett. She was just such a brat in the other books that I was pretty positive I wouldn't like her. Which would kill me because this author is one of my favorites so I want to like everything she writes, and I didn't want a unlikable heroine to ruin the book. Well I never should have doubted Jay because of course she wrote a kick ass book with a heroine that I ended up loving.

"Don't worry, Sprite, bad decisions make for good stories."

Avett Walker has many issues from her past, and the way she deals with them is to be as self destructive as possible. But when one of her many bad decisions leads her to be sitting in a jail cell, needing to be helped out yet again, she wakes up and realizes she's doing more damage to those around her than to herself. Now she just needs to figure out how to turn her life around without causing those she loves anymore heartache.

Quaid Jackson, aka legal eagle, is used to sitting across from criminals in orange jumpsuits and an I-don't-care attitude, so meeting his next client in lock up is nothing new. Until he see's the pink-haired girl he'll be representing and feels an overwhelming need to help her in any way possible. And when danger from her past shows up he wants to be the one there for her, even if it means putting himself in the crossfire.

Even though she doesn't want to lean anyone for help, Avett accepts Quaids offer to get her back on her feet. She doesn't want another person in her life to hurt because of her so she tries to stop herself from getting too close to him. But Quaid is almost impossible for her to resist, especially since he's decided she's what he wants.

"You're the best bad decision I ever made, and you are, by far, my favorite story to tell."

I can't lie and say that Avett wasn't a very screwed up heroine. But her flaws are what made me like her since she owned up to them. I was very nervous about her character because it never goes well when an author tries to redeem someone I already don't like. And that's the perfect part of this story - Jay Crownover never once tried to redeem Avett or make her character likable. Avett was who she was without remorse, she didn't give excuses for her behavior, she just accepted them and tried to become a better person. I really liked that she took her past and moved on from it by learning from her mistakes.

And Quaid, well just be prepared to need a change of panties...or better yet, don't wear them. This man, I swear Jay somehow got into my naughty file of fantasies and built this character around everything in there. Once he started to open up and become more of the man perfect for Avett he went wild with the hotness, and I almost couldn't keep up. I went into this thinking that he would be the sweet part to the story, but then the real Quiad was revealed once he loosened up a bit and I just wanted to rip that suit right off of him. His character didn't really "change" per se, but he became more himself and I liked how his character developed.

Bottom line, this story isn't just a romance, it's a story of growing up and how your past doesn't define you, it's what you do with your past that does. Previous characters made appearances which I, of course, loved but they didn't take over the book and there wasn't an overabundance of information about them, which I liked. There are also new characters that have me on the edge of my seat to get their story, but I don't know who will be next. So if you can't find me in the near future I'm most likely stalking Jay to see who is going to get a book next.

And don’t miss the first titles in The Saints of Denver Series!

Until June

The Boom is real!
Meet June & Evan in Until June !

Now available!
Amazon UK: http://amzn.to/1TRbaVd
Barnes & Noble: http://bit.ly/1QNOL4n

June Mayson and Evan Barrister’s whirlwind courtship resulted in a secret marriage right before he left for boot camp. Evan knows deep in his gut that June is too good for him, but after getting a taste of the beautiful life they can have together, he’s unwilling to let her go. June promises to wait for him, knowing neither time or distance will ever change her feelings for Evan—that is until she’s served with divorce papers while he’s overseas and she’s forced to let him go.
Her marriage and divorce a well-kept secret, the last person June expects to run into when she moves back to her hometown is Evan. Angry over the past, she does everything within her power to ignore the pull she feels whenever he is near. But how can she ignore the pain she sees every time their eyes meet? How can she fight the need to soothe him even if she knows she’s liable to get hurt once again?
Is it possible for June and Evan to find their way back to each other again? Or will they be stopped by an outside force before they ever have a shot?

Aurora Rose Reynolds is one of those authors for me that I will forever love. After reading Until November I was hooked and I don't think I will not be. I love how she can take a sweet romance story and turn it into something intriguing and unforgettable. Until June was nothing less than the best of ARR, and just another reason that I love her writing.

Until Juneis about November and Asher's daughter and the ex-husband no one knows about. Getting married to Evan before he went to boot camp seemed like the perfect plan to June, at the time. But then he came home and ignored her, sending his mother to give her divorce papers, and never speaking to her again. She didn't know what happened but she was heartbroken, so she moved back to her home town and tried to put the past behind her.

When Evan shows up in town and starts working with her family, she tries to avoid him and the memories he brings. Evan doesn't make it easy for her though, not once he decides they need another chance. A chance to clear the air and start over with their relationship to see where it leads. He won't give up on her, even if it means facing the wrath of her family when they learn of their marriage.

Evan and June's relationship started in the past, when we didn't know them yet, but there wasn't too much of the past brought up. I actually really liked that fact, and that the past wasn't brought to the front of the books attention a ridiculous amount of times. Focusing more on the present and the people that and June and Evan were now was the perfect thing for their story and I liked that it wasn't bogged down with worrying about everything that lead to where they were now.

I loved these two together, and getting to see them rediscover their love for one another. It was beautiful to see how time away from each other and a heartbreak, never changed how they cared for one another. I liked both of the characters and thought the development of them was done very well. There were no big changes in their characters but I felt like both June and Evan grew up some throughout the book and I liked seeing that.

There was one thing that seemed a bit rushed near the end of the book, and it didn't make too much sense to me. It was brought up earlier in the story, but then not mentioned again. Then bam it was there again and finished. Almost seemed like it was forgotten about, and then when remembered the author had to come up with a fast solution for it. It wasn't a big deal, but it did confuse me a little.

Overall, if you haven't read this series yet you are definitely missing something great. Not only is it easy to get sucked into the main characters' lives and want to be there with them, it's almost impossible to not feel the same with all the secondary characters. I love that there's a strong sense of family in these books, and I think most other people will too.

If you've read any of the books in this series, then you know Skye and Danny are the non-couple of this group that can't get their shit together. From the first book their weird relationship had me intrigued and I've just been waiting to finally see them together and not just giving each other heated looks. But their journey definitely wasn't an easy one.

Skye grew up in the MC life, it's nothing new to her. But what is new is the fear of one day being hurt because of her connection to the club. After seeing her aunt break down over something that happened because of that very reason, she decides she can't take it anymore, she needs out. Even if it means leaving Danny behind and never knowing would could have been from their connection.

Bella Jewel took this simple story of a forbidden couple and somehow turned it into something much, much bigger. The book took twists and turns that I was not expecting it to and I loved that this author could still shock me with what happens in her books. I don't want to say exactly what happens because I think it will be a shock for some, but I can say that there was a lot that happened throughout the book and every second of it had me enthralled with these characters.

There was more of a familial feel to this book than there was in the last one, and I really enjoyed that. It was great to see how close the Club was and how they never gave up on one of their own, even when they were angry at each other. Every family has their issues, but the way this large family comes together despite those issues is something truly amazing to see.

I can't say Skye was my favorite character, because here were definitely times I wanted to shake her and tell her to stop being stupid. It was frustrating at times to see her being so obtuse about what she wanted and thinking that her way was the only way. But by the end I could think back on the book as a whole and understood the reasons behind her behavior. I liked that she kind of redeemed herself and it made for a great ending to the book.

Overall, I highly recommend not just this book but this author. Bella Jewel was one of the first MC authors that I read years ago, so I hold her partly responsible for the obsession I now have on bikers. So even if you don't think you like the MC genre I urge you to try this series and it may change your mind.

I was a lil all over the place reading this but it was brilliant I m a huge fan of BJ I've loved all her books I've read I was dying for this book I've loved Danny an Skye since the first book of this series an I was dying for there story there forbidden love and r they together or not had me dying to know more

Skye has grown up in the MC life an has always loved it, her family is close an she never needs a thing they love each other an things are good Yeah there is always danger, it's a MC club, but the men always deal with it but lately things have gotten a lil crazy an things have happened that as turned this club upside down an it's scared Skye a lot but she as always had Danny they are so close I mean close close but they both want different things but want each other I have to say Skye is a lil confusing to me at times an I do feel for Danny but he loves her so much even though she is messing with his head an she does love him but the club life is not what she wants but the club life is all that Danny knows so things start to get hard between them

I have to say there was so many twists an turns in this I couldn't keep up but I loved it I didn't think this story would be like this I was emotional through probably half of it she caught so much emotion with Danny an Skye I felt so sorry for them in parts I even wanted to bang there heads together as well I love how close the Knights an Jokers r now Ye things will never b 100% but it's good to get all these hot man in one room I liked how close the Knights have become as well they have been close but even when times have got bad between them they end up getting even stronger that's how strong this club is an it's what Skye needs is her family

I really enjoyed the story characters an the twists in this book an I can't wait for more to see what happens with the rest of the kids I recommend this book an the rest of the books I've read of BJ xxx
