*Excerpt*
“Thank you again for taking me.” Pulling my eyes from the road for a brief moment, I look at Ellie. Her head is resting against the window, her legs pulled up onto the seat, tucked near her ass, and her arms are wrapped tight around them. One thing I’ve noticed about her over the last few hours is she’s always wrapping her arms around herself or tucking her body into a tight ball. It’s like she’s forcing herself to stay together.
“I told you I got you, baby,” I say gently, wanting more than anything to take her hand in mine, but every time I touch her, she freezes up like she’s waiting for me to strike out at her, and I would be lying if I said that didn’t piss me the fuck off. It does; it feels like a slap in the face every time it happens.
“I know,” she whispers, and the tears I hear in her voice cause a sharp pain in my chest.
Fuck.
“This is the turnoff.” Her feet go to the floorboard and her hands to the dash as she sits up taller, moving her face closer to the windshield. We drive up a long dirt driveway with forest and the occasional broken down car on each side. When we make it to the top of the hill, a singlewide trailer comes into view, with junk cars and garbage piled up out front.
As soon as I come to a stop, she opens her door and hops out before I can tell her to keep her little ass in the cab. I don’t even know how I’m going to deal with the range of emotions that have settled over me since seeing her for the first time.
“Fucking Boom,” I mutter, getting out behind her and doubling my steps until I’m able to reach her side, where I wrap my hand around her waist and pull her closer to me. She’s so fucking tiny that the top of her dark head sits right at my chest. So fragile, from her too soft skin to her petite size. And she’s mine.

Sutton Creech was a cheat and a liar. Tate Porter had found that out when he was eighteen, and he had no intention of letting her make a fool out of him again. “He’s old enough that we don’t need her anymore.”
“You going to drag your ass out of bed to take him to school in the mornings? Wash his dirty clothes? Fix his dinner? I don’t notice you putting up a fight when Holly washes your dirty clothes, and you sure as fuck don’t have a problem wolfing down those meals she cooks.”
Greer shrugged. “She’s earning her keep.”
Tate snorted. “What keep? That small bedroom she sleeps in or the house where you refuse to remodel the kitchen? The floorboards are so thin one of our feet is going to go through it one day.”
“It’s fine.” Greer crossed his arms against his chest stubbornly.
“It’s a shithole, and you know it, but you’re hoping to run Holly off. I thought you were smarter than that. Holly won’t leave Logan. She’d die for that boy, which is more than I can say about you.”
“What in the fuck does that mean?”
“It means, after we sell the pot, we’re getting a new kitchen,” Tate stated firmly.
“You’ll be using your share, then. I have better uses for my money.”
“What? Drinking or whoring?”
“Both.”
Tate’s hands tightened on the steering wheel, controlling the impulse to punch his brother in the face. Bringing the truck to a stop in front of their house, he turned to stare coldly at Greer.
“We’re getting the fucking kitchen.”
Greer opened his mouth then closed it, smart enough to realize Tate’s mind was made up.
“Fine, but there better not be any fancy shit in it.”
Confused, Tate stared at his brother. “Like what?”
“No dishwasher nor any of that frosted glass. If I want anyone to see what’s in my cabinets, I’ll leave the doors open.”
Tate laid his head on the steering wheel instead of banging it against it the way he wanted to. “Do you have to be such a hillbilly?”
Greer got out of the truck without answering the obvious.
Tate climbed out after taking a deep breath. Greer would try the patience of a saint, and he sure as fuck wasn’t one of those. He lowered the tailgate, pulling the box that held the groceries toward him, and then each brother lifted several bags into their arms.
“You think she’ll stay around a while?”
“Holly?”
“No! The woman we saw at the hotel.”
His brother had the attention span of a gnat.

*Synopsis*
Cam Montgomery is a single full time dad who knows his priorities: his kids, his job, his team, his side business. Dealing with his disaster of an ex-wife is bad enough, not to mention delinquent football players and a meddlesome mother. Cam doesn’t have the luxury of time for anything more, especially a relationship. Even if it is sassy-wiseass Paige Carpino, who can still be sweet, but at every turn knocks him on his ass with the unexpected.

That’s figuratively speaking of course. Paige might come in a small package, but she makes up for it in spirit. An energetic spit-fire who has some heat to her sauce, she’s dedicated to her new business ventures, her family and a select group of friends. She’s never put herself out there, but then again, there’s never been anyone worthy of putting herself out there for.

Until one day in a burger joint, an asshole practically enters her into a wet t-shirt contest with his drink. Who knew a wet t-shirt could be the beginning of your life. Or more importantly, that asshole would be your reason for being. But anything and all of the above can happen when you finally put yourself out there for a single-dad-ex-football-player-smarty-pants-hot-man. When you throw the Carpino’s, the Montgomery’s and an eighty-five year old bossy woman in the mix, it’s a recipe for…well…something big.

Warning: This book contains a hot dad, a sassy heroine, steamy parts and naughty words. If you’re under the age of 18, this author is frowning at you with her mama eyes telling you to walk away.

Paige Carpino was having an okay day until some asshole bumps into her and spills his soda all over her shirt and then doesn't even apologize. After telling the guy off, she leaves and goes about her day, doing her best to forget about the crazy hot jerk. She never expected to see him again, and definitely not at her sister's front door to pick up his two kids that Paige was watching.

Cam Montgomery never though he would see the sassy woman that told him off again, and especially not with his kids. Not wanting to deal with her anymore he decides he can change his schedule so that Paige doesn't have to watch them. But she was having none of that, and told him that she likes his kids, she will continue to watch them, and that was the end of that. Cam starts to see a whole different side to the in your face girl he first met - and he likes what he see's.

I sat in an uncomfortable chair all night long because I refused to go to bed or even to move and have to put this book down for one second. I loved this story and it was one of those that you are dying to get to the end the whole time you're reading because you want to see how it will end, but then once you get to the end you want to cry because it's over. The characters were amazing and perfect for one another and I loved them both.

Cam was the football coach at the local high school and he also had his own gym. I really liked how hardworking he was and, even though we didn't get to see too much of him at his job, it was evident that he loved what he did and was passionate about it. He didn't trust very easily because of his past with his crazy ex, but once he started to open up to Paige, it was like he was a completely different person. He was sweeter and even a lot more sexy. Seriously guys, Cam with his kids was totally swoon worthy.

Paige gave off this tough girl personality but under all of that she was sweet and caring. It didn't take long for her to accept Cam and his kids into her world and for her to go all mama bear protective. I loved that she just jumped right into it and didn't let herself get scared away. She was a caterer and had her own blog which kept her pretty busy, but never too busy for those she cared about. I thought it was great how much time she spent with the kids and how easily they were accepted into her life.

There was actually a lot going on in the story, more than just the romance of Cam and Paige, but I won't tell any of that so everyone can still be surprised when things start happening. In all honesty there was so much happening that it should have been too much but somehow everything just worked together. The story just continued to flow and work together. The book is over four hundred pages and took me all night to read but it seemed like I finished it super fast because there were no slow or boring parts.

Overall, I loved this story and it was sweet with some intense times that made it impossible to put the book down. We still get to see the Carpino family and all their craziness PLUS the Montgomery family who is just as crazy and I loved all the secondary characters. I hope Cam's family will get a story!

Warning: Don't read this book on an empty stomach. Paige baked a lot and made me so hungry I made three dozen cookies after I finished this. I don't even want to admit to how many of those I ate.

Lola and Oliver like to congratulate themselves on having the good sense to not consummate their drunken Las Vegas wedding. If they’d doubled-down on that mistake, their Just Friends situation might not be half as great as it is now.

... Or so goes the official line.

In reality, Lola’s wanted Oliver since day one—and over time has only fallen harder for his sexy Aussie accent and easygoing ability to take her as she comes. More at home in her studio than in baring herself to people, Lola’s instinctive comfort around Oliver nearly seems too good to be true. So why ruin a good thing?

Even as geek girls fawn over him, Oliver can’t get his mind off what he didn’t do with Lola when he had the chance. He knows what he wants with her now ... and it’s far outside the friend zone. When Lola’s graphic novel starts getting national acclaim—and is then fast-tracked for a major motion picture—Oliver steps up to be there for her whenever she needs him. After all, she’s not the kind of girl who likes all that attention, but maybe she’s the kind who’ll eventually like him.

*Synopsis*

I was warned about Tristan Cole.

“Stay away from him,” people said.
“He’s cruel.”
“He’s cold.”
“He’s damaged.”

It’s easy to judge a man because of his past. To look at Tristan and see a monster.

But I couldn’t do that. I had to accept the wreckage that lived inside of him because it also lived inside of me.

We were both empty.
We were both looking for something else. Something more.
We both wanted to put together the shattered pieces of our yesterdays.

Then perhaps we could finally remember how to breathe.

Elizabeth has lost her husband an year ago after an accident. She feels empty, but she is trying to move on for Emma's sake, her little daughter.

Tristan is a shattered man. He has lost both the love of his life and his son, Charlie. Now, he doesn't care about anyone else. He has no reason to live.

Everyone tells Emma to stay away from Tristan, that he will just hurt her. But she sees something in him, she feels close to him in some ways.

Will they be able to mend each other? Will they be able to start living again?

To say that I was anxious before reading this book was an understatement. I had seen just 5 star reviews and being the picky b*tch I am lately, I was scared I wouldn't like it.

As soon as I started reading it, I forgot about EVERYTHING because I was immediately pulled in.

I finished it at night and I couldn't sleep, because I couldn't stop thinking about the story. My heart felt so full of emotions that I thought it was going to explode.

If you've read the blurb, I'm sure you think that this is an emotional and sad book. Yes, this is an emotional read that will pull on your heartstrings and that will make you shed a few tears here and there, but this isn't a depressing read at all.

This is a story of second chances, of starting to live again when you think your life is over.

This is a story that will fill your heart with joy and hope.

You know that place in between nightmares and dreams?
The place where tomorrows never come and yesterdays don't hurt anymore?
The place where your heart beats in sync with mine?
The place where time doesn't exist, and it's easy to breathe?
I want to live there with you.

The writing was amazing and I highlightened like crazy.
I know that a book is good when I shed a few tears just because the story is so powerful that I can't control my feelings.

This goes straight to my Top list of books of the 2015. I LOVED this one so much and I can't recommend it enough.

Kate Reynolds has a new job as a junior political analyst at the CIA, a job that could help her find the answers about what happened to her fiancé Matt, in Afghanistan.
Since she lost him, four years ago, she hasn't been the same person.
Kate has lost her true love, her soulmate.
But what if digging for the truth could cost her her life?

Have you ever found a book that sucks you in and leaves you with a smile in the end? Well, Falling for Danger definitely fits into the category. As soon as I started reading it, I was hooked!

I was dying to get my hands on this book and I had a few expectations about it. Let me tell you that I wasn't disappointed, at all!
The story could have taken a turn that I wouldn't have liked and I was a bit worried about it..but I'm happy to say that the book ended up being how I wanted it to be.

I had no idea what to expect from Kate's story and who could be the hero in it..I tried to stay away from reviews, teasers and whatever could spoiler this story for me. I am glad I did because I believe it is better to go in blind!

I loved this book and it was my favorite in the series. Both the characters were great and mature and I had butterflies and goosebumps while reading this story.
I expected the last part of the book to go another way, but I understood why the author took that road and I really liked it nonetheless.

This series has been such a great surprise and I'm a little sad that it is over.
I'm definitely going to read more by Chanel Cleeton!

Romance and mystery come together in this story to make an intriguing, sweet book that will suck you in and hold you captive until the very end.

Kate Reynolds lost her fiance four years ago when his military unit was hit, and has never been the same since. Not because she is grieving his loss, but because she knows that there is something deeper than a mission gone wrong going on, and that her father is apart of it. She has dedicated her life since then to finding out the answers to what really happened.

She just never expected her fiance to show up at her apartment, alive and well. Matt has been hiding from the people after him for years, but has always kept an eye on his one true love. But when the same people he's hiding from start targeting Kate, he know's he can't hide any longer.

Kate is beyond happy that Matt is back with her again, but they are both involved in a dangerous game and they will have to uncover the secrets hidden in a world of politics before time runs out.
This book was full of so many questions and I honestly had no idea what would happen or how it would end. I loved the mystery and I kept trying to guess what would happen next, but I was always wrong! I really thought I knew how it would end but I really had no idea. I loved that the story kept me on my toes and proved me wrong time and time again.

I loved the characters and Matt and Kate both were so tough and determined to finally get all of the secrets out in the open. They could have run from everything and just let it be but they stayed and fought until the very end. I thought it was great that they wouldn't give up. Even after years apart they got back together like they had never spent even a day apart and worked amazingly well together.

So why only 3.5 stars?
I really did like this story and the mystery behind all of the secrets and danger had my attention from the very beginning. But the romance felt lacking to me. Matt came back, basically, from the dead but it wasn't a big reunion. After the initial freak out of, "holy shit, you're alive" Kate kind of just accepted the fact and they both went on with their lives together again. I guess I was just expecting a little more romance than what we got.

The ending fell short for me, and I wanted more from it. I just wasn't happy with how all of it played out in the end and left me wanting more. The last 10% was just pretty meh.

Overall, this book is definitely worth a read if you like a mystery along with your romances. I guarantee you that it will not disappoint your suspense needs and will make you question everything.

Gemma Taylor is a sex line operator that's good at her job and actually likes what she does. Every night she get's on the phone and she becomes Lucy, a fantasy for her callers as she becomes whatever they need. Until Jason. He starts to be her obsession and with him, she's Gemma, not Lucy. Telling him her real fantasies of being taken by strangers and used. Jason get's closer with her and wants to meet the girl that sounds perfect for him, persuading Gemma to give him her real information so he can come show her how he would use her body, not just tell her. Desperate for this caller, Gemma agree's to meet but she and Jason both want it to stay anonymous so the plan is for her to wear a blindfold and wait on her knee's for her dirty caller.

Holy shit, this book was filthy as hell. I expected nothing less from this wonderful author, though! The books from this series never fail to suck me in and make me never want to put the book down so I can discover what else Jade has in store with us. Some of the things definitely push my limits and gross me out at times, but that's the great thing and makes me want more.

These books aren't just naughty smut, they actually have a story to them and the characters always have a connection. I loved the chemistry Jason and Gemma had in this one, and really liked that they hadn't even met but were already falling for each other. They were off the charts sexy together (and with some friends) and I loved seeing how far Jason would push Gemma.

Gemma was an amazing character and I really liked how confident she was. Sure, she had some insecurities - don't we all - but she always overcame them and realized how awesome and sexy she was. She wasn't a skinny girl and she owned her curves and loved them. So did Jason, the hot athletic man completely opposite of Gemma. I liked how they were so different yet so perfect for each other.

My main problem came from the fact that Jason (view spoiler). I wasn't expecting it and when I found out it kind out changed my view of him. Having to deal with that was what made my rating go down. Only a small issue, but also the word dirty. It was dirty girl this, and dirty girl that all throughout the book and by the middle I was tired of hearing how dirty Jason's dirty girl was. I searched the word and it was used 270 times.

Overall, loved this book and can't wait to see what this author will come up with next. These books push limits and are kinky, nasty, absolutely filthy. Anyone who likes a naughty, smutty book needs to try this, even if you aren't into the filthy stuff this book is all about pushing limits, so why not push yours?

P.S. Chelsea, Gemma's friend...
