*Synopsis*
Jennifer Chance’s Rule Breakers series turns up the heat as a wealthy playboy and a beautiful con artist engage in a high-stakes game of seduction.

As dominating in business as he is in bed, Rand Sterling Winston, IV, always gets what he wants. And even before he realizes that she’s scammed him into paying triple the cost for her friend’s painting, he wants Dani Michaels. To catch her alone, Rand demands she personally deliver his purchase. The attraction between them is immediate and electric, and he knows she feels it, too. So when the part-time petty thief rebuffs his advances, he gives her a choice: a night in jail or an evening with him.

Despite her checkered past, Dani has never met someone like Rand: brooding, intense, and oh-so tempting. Only a man with a broken soul could make losing control feel this dangerous. Still, when Rand proposes a no-strings, no-holds-barred affair, Dani’s more than a little intrigued. It’ll be the trickiest con she's ever run and a chance to indulge her steamiest fantasies—nothing more. But as their encounters grow increasingly intimate, Dani uncovers a vulnerable side to Rand’s steely exterior . . . and opens her heart to the ultimate risk.

This is the fourth book in the Rule Breakers series, but can be read as a Standalone. It is a fun, intriguing, sexy read about two different people coming together in a spark of chemistry and pushing each other to their limits.

Dani is a con artist who grew up rough. She follows no ones rules but her own, and lives life in the moment, rather than letting past regrets put her down. Rand, Mr. Richie Rich, is an in control business man, used to getting what he wants. After Dani con's him into buying one of her friends paintings, Rand decides she is what he wants. But he'll have to work a little harder than usual to get what he wants this time.

"I would like to see you again, Dani. Tonight. Tomorrow. Next week."
"Well, um, thank you, I guess. But no thank you."

I really liked Dani's character and how tough she was. She didn't let anything or anyone stop her from going after what she wanted. Behind her tough exterior, though, she had a soft, kind side to her and wanted to protect the people close to her.
Rand was the perfect mix of possessive Alpha and caring guy. He surprised me throughout the book and turned out to be more than just another rich guy using his money to get what he wanted. Not growing up with the best of childhoods, he was constantly working to move forward from the past, and it was great to see how he strove to succeed each day.
I did feel there were some minor issues not resolved by the end of the book but overall this was a great read and I will be looking forward to more from the author.

*Synopsis*
“How rough can you take it?
LOURDES
He was brazen as hell from the moment I laid eyes on him. He was aggressive, and dominant, with Mack truck arms, and a bar brawler voice.
He was too good looking for his own good, with a hard jaw, and harder eyes.
I’d always led a fairly peaceful life, but even I could tell at a glance that this man was dangerous. For so many reasons.
Not the least of which being that rough, dirty, sheet-clawing sex fairly radiated off him.
I’d thought I’d known how to handle every kind of man, but this one left me baffled.
To say he wasn’t my type was putting it lightly.
But you couldn’t tell that to my libido.
Not even when I found out the truth.
My lover had lied to me from the very start.
Nothing about our meeting was a coincidence.

This book can be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed this book I was a lil nerve after readin some reviews but I did enjoy it.
The story is about the gorgeous Lourdes she is a 40 yr old woman who has 2 older sons an is a divorced photographer she is very attractive an a around great woman when she's in the supermarket she meet the very handsome an sexy Heath she can c how sexy an good lookin he is but she can c in his eyes that there is something deeper an his eyes would not move from her she could feel my goin through her they ended up chatting her not really getting much out of him but she seemed 2 b able 2 open up 2 him 4 some stage reason after everything she as gone through with her ex she wasn't really lookin 4 a relationship an casual sex isn't really her thing but Heath just had hot sexy time written al over him an she just couldn't resist him she when she met him takin her dog 4 walk an they got talkin things went a lil wet an wild an she could get enough of him an he could either but Heath shouldn't realy b there Lourdes didn't really know much about him an he could tell her much either but he knew a whole lot about her which I did find crazy Heath would go missin 4 days weeks months but he just couldn't stay away but when thinks start getting a lil hard Lourdes does know if bein with Heath is the rite thing she just didn't if she was coming or goin
I think this book was really good I did think at times that Lourdes was a lil dizzy at times an I would wonder why she didn't question how he knew so much about her an her house cause she did notice but never said anything I know we find out a lil why through the book but it did annoy me a lil but like every other book that RKL as done I just couldn't put it done an loads did get in the way of my read time while read this which did piss me off but I was so happy when I got back into it I did luv the fact that we got more from other characters from the other series but made me luv this book so much more cause I a huge fan of the other series
I thought Lourdes was a really good character I do luv the older women younger me. story's there great an I did like both main characters but like I did say the whole not pull in Heath about why he knew her so well did annoy me a lil but not effort 4 me it's hate the book
Lourdes is a very sexy woman an as been through a shitty divorce but has 2 gorgeous sons how have stood by her through everything an they would do anything 4 her but they r quite near Heaths age so she is a lil scared that this mite b a problem but her older son but he is just great an so is her younger son but he does have a few worries about it but just wants her happy
Heath is a lil different an as been through hell an back an he his still dealin with shit now but Lourdes is helpin him deal with stuff a lil better Heath as never been into anything like this an he just needs her so much he just can't get enough even when he's not meant 2 c her he's there 1 thing this book did have was amazin sexy time they just sizzle 2gether it's hot rough an hard
Overall the story was great I just really luvd it the characters from past an present were amazin I would recommend the book an her others I just think RKL is an amazin author an she sure can't write some really hot stuff an some intense stuff which just makes the book brilliant xxx

Gabriella is a journalist for Epic Mag, writing puff pieces about celebrities, and hating that she can't be writing her romance novel. Her current assignment is to go to a movie premier for the new Drake Gibson movie. Being a tell-it-like-it-is kind of girl she has no problem telling Drake that he is an asshole while there. Until he focuses his intense stare onto her, that is. Thinking she is going to lose the job she does as her boss wants, and goes to the after party to find Drake and apologize. What she finds once she gets there, though, isn't a guy who wants an apology, but a guy who wants her.

Something Wicked is hot, hot, hot. I loved Drake's intensity in and out of the bedroom and wanted more! From the beginning you can tell that he has darkness in him that is just clawing to get out, and from the first second you see it, the story drags you in and makes you want to see more of it. His character definitely had flaws, and there were times I just wanted to smack him silly, but for the most part I just wanted him.

"She wanted to hate me, but her body gave way to her real feelings. If she had any idea of the things I wanted to do to her, she’d run." ~ Drake

Gabby wasn't the type of person that bowed down to others, and I loved seeing that. She definitely wasn't going to fall at Drake's feet and worship him like so many others do, and that's what intrigued both Drake and me as a reader. It made the story so interesting to see what else she would say to him that would be a shock. Especially after she called him an asshole haha. She loved reading romance, and daydreaming that her life was like one of her books, which made me love her so much because it was so relatable. I just wish that we could have seen what happened with her book.

The only problem I had with the story was the ending. It was too neatly wrapped up, and ended very quickly. I also would have liked to see more of Drake and Gabby after all of the drama. We see a fierce love affair between the two characters at first but it seemed to dwindle down and I kept waiting for it to get scorching again.

Overall, this was a very smexy story with great characters and a great story of how they got together. This was my first book by Teresa Mummert but it will definitely not be my last.

Working at Harbour Records was supposed to be Ali's first step in turning her life around. She's down on her luck, living out of her car, and now has to deal with a rock star used to getting everything that he wants. And what Cooper wants, is Ali. After she literally falls at his feet when she meets him, Ali is giving an ultimatum. Either tour with Taint or be unemployed once again.

The book started off good, and I was really interested in finding out more about Cooper. But then nothing happened! He met Ali, made her his new PA, she followed around the band and witnessed their drugging and whoring ways, and that was about it for the first half of the book.Despite not keeping my interest for long, it was still an okay story for the first half. I still had an insane need to get more of Coopers history, and Ali was actually kind of funny

"Do I own your pussy, Ali-Cat?"
"Fuck no, I don't even own that pussy. That bitch needs a fucking leash."

Then the second half of the book happened, and it seemed like a completely different story. It took a really weird direction that I wasn't expecting at all, nor did I understand it. Be prepared for this rant. Ali gets upset that Cooper called her his exes name so she decided so be a complete fuckwit the rest of the night, does some drugs, sleeps with Levi, and then the next morning actually tries to blame Levi for it and say he took advantage of her. Own up to it, bitch! This made me so mad! I didn't understand it AT ALL and then they get into some weird threesome relationship? I'm all for threesomes, don't get me wrong, but this was just weird, didn't seem real at all, and there were no emotions in it.

The second half of the book is what pushed this down from being a meh book to being a get this over with, already! book. There was a lot of sex, a lot of jealousy, tons of drama, and I was SO over it. I never actually got the story about Coopers past, Ali didn't do anything except have sex, and then got mad after she found out (spoiler) and she got so upset and was going to leave and blah blah blah. If I found out someone did that for me I think I would be grateful not a total bitch about it.

I had high hopes that it would get better, and was just waiting for more information to come up about Cooper so I could connect to his character some, but it never did. I never actually got to find out much about any of the characters. The other members were barely mentioned and were just kind of there, I didn't really see them as a band and they didn't seem to connect well.
Overall, this didn't work out for me. If the second half didn't change so drastically I probably wouldn't of had a problem with it. In the beginning I thought it was going to be a totally different book, especially after Ali dissed the band and pointed out what was wrong with them. I thought for sure the rest of the story would be them getting their act together, and Ali being a kick ass manager for them (her dream job). I am curious about the other members and what's going to happen with them, so I will most likely continue with the story. Lets just hope there isn't the same drama.

*Excerpt *
Prologue

“It’s so beautiful,” I whisper, cuddling deeper into Austin’s side as I look up at the night sky. I swear you can see every single star there is when the nights are clear like this.
“Yeah,” he grunts, making me smile as his fingers on my arm move in soothing strokes.
“We graduate in two weeks,” I say while butterflies erupt in my stomach. Austin has been my boyfriend since I was sixteen, and since the very beginning, we have talked about getting married as soon as we graduate high school. I know a lot of people would say we’re too young, but ever since the day I laid eyes on him, I knew he would be my husband.

Cassidy Walden and Shaw Matthew work as sport agents for the same company, but they are rivals on the field. Indeed, the one who will sign a contract with Denver Rockford, a famous NFL player, will also become the new partner at Striker Sports Entertainment.

This is an enemies to lovers story. Shaw and Cassidy have a love-hate relationship, they can't stand each other, but they can't deny the attraction between them. Things between them are explosive..No need to say that sex scenes were really steamy and hot! They both don't want to figure out what they feel for each other, actually, they refuse to do it.
I wasn't enjoying it at first and I struggled with it. Luckily, the story warmed up.

I didn't have big issues with Shaw or Cassidy, but sometimes they acted a bit too childish in my opinion. I guess I have to see how things will go in the next book to make up my mind.

There were many things I liked..but at the same time they were also many things that didn't sit well with me, that's why I couldn't rate it higher.

Shaw is a real playboy, he's a charmer, beautiful and really determined man.
Cassidy is a determined and confident woman as well and she will try her best to gain the job position.

There were many secondary stories in this book, but you won't feel confused. I loved Landon and I hope we will get more of him in the next book <3

I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series, especially because of the way this one ended. Ugh.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read and I really want to know what will happen next!

This is book one in the Monkey Business series and it's not a stand-alone.

Miles Archer is a damaged man just trying to get through life with no more pain. He closes himself off from people and won't let his heart get attached to anyone. Until Tate, that is. When she moves in with her brother across the hall from Miles, he can't help but want her. But is he lets himself have her, there are rules that need to be followed.

"Don't ask about my past, and never expect a future."

Miles, oh Miles *dreamy smile* He's one of those characters that makes you feel the strongest emotions that you don't even question feeling for a fictional character. I wanted to cuddle him close and just rock back and forth with him in my arms and protect him from the pain this world brings. Not that he needs protecting, though he definitely went through hard times and was had a broken heart, Miles was so strong. It's not evident right away but by the end I could see how tough he was and it made me fall in love with his character all over again.

I loved Tate and how she wouldn't let Miles push her away. She saw the broken pieces inside of him and wanted to put him back together like a puzzle. Their relationship had it's ups and downs and wasn't easy at all but the fight they both fought to be what each other needed was so beautiful to read about. I don't think I've cried this much over a book in a long time. Their love wasn't pretty, it wasn't tied together with a nice little bow. It was Ugly.

"Love isn't pretty, Tate. Sometimes you spend all your time hoping it'll eventually be something different. Something better. Then, before you know it, you're back to square one, and you lost your heart somewhere along the way."

This story broke my heart, made me laugh, cry, and just sit around with a stupid smile on my face. Such strong emotions were in this book and when you read it, you can't help but feel those same emotions. Colleen Hoover doesn't just write a story, her words put you into that story and make you live it.

Why the fuck do you have to be so beautiful that I can't get you out of my head?

Anna just moved back home, to be closer to her brother - her very overprotective brother. He's a member of the Dragon's Motorcycle Club now and different than she remembers. Trying to get to know him again, and appease his protectiveness, she spends a lot of time around the club, and around Arrow. Arrow is a changed man after spending years in prison. Not thinking he's worthy of her, he tries his damnedest to stay away from Anna. Some attraction can just not be fought, though.

After reading Dragon's Lair I couldn't wait to get Arrow's story. I was so excited to find out what happened with him after the end of Dex's book but I did not expect to love this book as much as I did! This was a great story that had me ignoring reality just so I could finish it.

Arrow was a really intense character that you can't help but feel for. And he is totally swoon worthy! I loved him and Anna together as a couple and how Anna didn't back down from him. She went after what she wanted and was a strong heroine. Being thrown into an unknown situation didn't stop her from going after what she wanted and I loved that about her.

Overall, I really really liked this book and all the twists there were along with the romance. There was one thing that I did not see coming and it completely shocked the crap out of me. I can't wait to see more from this series, Trackers story is next and I am EXCITED!
