Tyrant

Tyrant book Tour.jpg

*Synopsis*
I. Remember. Everything.

Only now I wish I didn’t.

When the fog is sucked away from my mind like smoke through a vacuum, the truth that has been beyond my reach for months finally reveals itself.

But the relief I thought I would feel never comes, and I’m more afraid now than I was the morning I woke up handcuffed in King’s bed.

Because with the truth comes dark secrets I was never meant to know.
I will put the lives of those I love most at risk if I let on that my memory has returned, or if I seek help from the heavily tattooed felon who owns me body and soul.

I don’t know if I’m strong enough to resist the magnetic pull toward King that grows stronger every day.

He’s already saved me in more ways than one. Now it’s my turn to do whatever it takes to save him.

Even if that means marrying someone else…

I will try to keep this review as spoiler-free as possible, because you absolutely have to go in blind!!

I loved book one and I was DYING to get my hands on this book. I was sure that I was going to love this one too, and I wasn't disappointed at all!

This book was packed with action and I couldn't put it down, not even for a minute- I had to know what was going to happen.

King definitely redeemed himself in this one, because I was absolutely mad at him when I finished book one.
But we all know that King is the guy that you want to hate, but you can't help but love nonetheless.
He is a determined man, now more than ever, and nobody gets in King's way.

"I will always find my way back to you, baby. Always."

The character that surprised me the most in this book was Doe! I found her really mature and I didn't expect her to handle everything so well.

I'm so glad that we got to (view spoiler).

I loved Doe and King's together, loved their moments together.

This book was more than King and Doe's story, though. It was a story about friendship, revenge, reconciliation.

Throughout the book, there were some big revelations and some of them left me shocked because I hadn't seen them coming. The twists and turns in this story were never expectable.

It was engaging, gripping and I am glad that it was told in both povs because I enjoyed reading about both Doe and King's thoughts.

If you haven't read this duet, you urge you to do so. You certainly don't want to miss out on this series ;)

I'm absolutely excited for Bear's book. I have a feeling that it will be really dark and twisted and I can't wait!

Tyrant starts off right where King left us, and all my emotions from that ending came rushing back when I started this. I was still so mad yet excited to finally be getting the rest of the story. T.M Frazier did not disappoint. This book was absolutely amazing and so twisted, I seriously question Ms. Frazier's mind. Her dark mind can write some of the best books I have ever read though.

"I'm the man who took you against your will and handcuffed you to my fucking bed. I'm the man who wanted you, so I fucking kept you." He cocked an eyebrow. "Do you really think you have a choice when it comes to being mine?"

King is fucking sexy and an all out crazy son of a bitch. Most people would probably do the smart thing and run from him but I want to just jump his bones and make him mine. I loved how possessive he was and protective of those he cared about. I found it so hot that he was so tough and a little mentally unhinged (don't judge me).

I loved getting more of Doe's story and finding out all about her past that we didn't get in King. She slowly got her memory back and the little glimspses of her old life that we got just added to the mystery of what really happened to her. I was going a tad bit insane trying to guess what had happened and I kind of knew but then again I had no idea! I thought I had figured it out but then it was ten times more crazy than what I was thinking.

This story focuses a lot more on Doe alone than with King but the love between them was still really evident. So much twisted shit happened that I'm really not even sure how I survived reading this book without having a mental breakdown. It was the kind of book that takes over your emotions and breaks you, then puts you back together again. I want everyone I know to read this wonderful series and love it as much as I did - so get to it, people!

Warning: Some seriously fucked up shit happens in this story, not for the feint of heart.
