*Synopsis*
Believed dead by his Pack mates, Micah Chase, a wolf shifter and Dreamwalker, was held captive for months, subject to tortures that left him physically scarred and emotionally unsettled.

Now under the care of the Alpha Pack’s doctors, he’s been prescribed an experimental healing drug, but he still can’t shake the nightmares. Even more damning is that Micah’s problems pose a danger to his team, and if he doesn’t get himself under control, they’ll all suffer a terrible fate.

There is a key to his salvation. Jaycee is a beautiful coyote shifter, and though her kind is hated, she’s falling in love with a man whose very future is in her hands. Together they’ll face his personal demons as well as a deadly enemy—and for both of them desire has never come with such risk.

Another great addition to this series!
Micah is battling the demons of his past as best he can, but it isn't always helping. Dealing with memories and physical reminders of the torture he went through he starts to rely on pills to get him through. Then Jacee comes into his life, his mate, his savior. She has her own horrible past that she has dealt with and she helps Micah take control of his demons. But when an enemy from Micah's past starts making threats, Jacee and Micah have a whole different fight ahead.

I am a huge fan of this series and just can't get enough of the Alpha Pack. The brothers of the pack are so loyal to one another and made up their own family and I love that. I have been anticipating Micah's story for what seems like eternity and it was well worth the wait. He was a complicated character and had many different sides to him. It was great to see how sweet he was with Jacee right from the start and then to see how fierce he was in battle. I felt for him and wanted to help him through his struggles.

I honestly wanted to know more about Jacee and her past because I feel like there were pieces left out. But also that may be explained in (view spoiler). But what I did learn about her I liked and she was a good character. Not my favorite female lead from this series, but no big complaints. There were no specific reasons I liked her, she was just a normal - paranormal? - girl.

Bottom line, I really enjoyed this book and for anyone that likes shifter books this series is a must read. J.D Tyler does not disappoint!
