Penn
They say revenge is a dish best served cold.
I’d had four years to stew on what Daria Followhill did to me, and now my heart was completely iced.
I took her first kiss.
She took the only thing I loved.
I was poor.
She was rich.
The good thing about circumstances? They can change. Fast.
Now, I’m her parents’ latest shiny project.
Her housemate. Her tormentor. The captain of the rival football team she hates so much.
Yeah, baby girl, say it—I’m your foster brother.
There’s a price to pay for ruining the only good thing in my life, and she’s about to shell out some serious tears.
Daria Followhill thinks she is THE queen. I’m about to prove to her that she’s nothing but a spoiled princess.

Daria
Everyone loves a good old unapologetic punk.
But being a bitch? Oh, you get slammed for every snarky comment, cynical eye roll, and foot you put in your adversaries’ way.
The thing about stiletto heels is that they make a hell of a dent when you walk all over the people who try to hurt you.
In Penn Scully’s case, I pierced his heart until he bled out, then left it in a trash can on a bright summer day.
Four years ago, he asked me to save all my firsts for him.
Now he lives across the hall, and I want nothing more than to be his last everything.
His parting words when he gave me his heart were that nothing in this world is free.
Now? Now he is making me pay.

What a book this was. Ive been looking forward to this for so long. The HotHoles is one of my favourite series ever so to get there kids is super exciting. If they are even a bit like there parents they are going to be so bad ass.

The kids from All Saints High are not normal kids there parents are rich and there kids are spoiled brats will most of them. Daria Followhill is one of them though. She is known as the Queen Bee in school and no would dare knock her down. She has this wall built that no one can get past. She doesn't let anyone in or get to near. Everyone thinks her life is perfect that she has everything but there so wrong so very wrong. Life get even worst when Penn Scully comes back to haunt her. Just is name gives her a shiver.

Penn Scully hasn't had a easy life but he is a tough guy never really moans about his life. Until one night things turn to crap. After this he turns a bit harder and there is one person to thank for that and it's Daria Followhill. The only way to make him feel that but better is to make her pay for what she did. But he just didn't think that revenge could to turn into something that he has experienced before love.

Daria and Penn's story is not smooth at all it's a total mess from the start. It was never goin to be hearts and roses. Things were mean and done to spite each other. Then things got a lil complicated when they were around each other more and they both had revenge on there minds but things got a lil messy then they both started to like what was happening. The things they were doin weren't to mess with each they started to enjoy things they shouldn't which just make the game a lot more fun.

This is the first book from the Hothole kids. Daria is the older daughter of Jamie and Melody from Defy. This book was brilliant from the very start I couldn't put it down the story was so addictive. After seeing a few teaser of the book I knew I was goin to enjoy these 2 characters but I didn't think I would enjoy them just had much has there parents books. Daria is a brilliant character and I really luv her. My heart went out to her in parts I know is very sassy, bold, horrible at times but there is a vulnerable side to her. Not many people see it and in part I don't think she deserves what she went through. I know loads of people are saying yes she did but I don't think she did. I'm some ways she is misunderstood and people were just has bad to her as she was to them. Penn is amazing to this guy is hot it's one thing this author knows well and it's hot heroes. Penn goes through so many mixed emotions through out this book. Like Daria my head goes out to him to. They come from different back grounds but suit each other so well. The chemistry between them from the start is so hot it's crazy.

I would highly recommend this book the story is sexy, angst, emotional and addictive. I could go on about this book for ages. I m a bit fan of this author and have been from the very start. But her books just keep getting better and better. I'm really looking forward to more of this series. I just know it's going to be amazing if it anything like this book.

Pretty Reckless is the ultimate bully to lovers type of story. We have not one, but two bullies in this story and it was the kind of volatile, hate to love you, type of book that I can never get enough of. Daria is the rich bitch that acts out and seems to have no regard for other people's feelings and Penn is the take no prisoner guy from the wrong side of town that's out for revenge on the queen bee. Then they end up living under the same roof when Daria's parents take Penn in and the anger between them turns into much much more.

This story was honestly so captivating and I loved how these characters sucked me in. Even when I was read to slap both of them it was still an amazing experience of seeing how they handled everything. Daria was more of the focus then Penn was but I could see why since she definitely had a lot of pain that was hidden, whereas Penn put his out there for anyone to see. Daria was a little bit of an iffy character for me though. She lashed out a lot, which was understandable, but there were times that I wanted to just shake her and make her calm the hell down instead of hurting other people just because she was hurting. Again, I understood it and I liked the depth that it brought to her character, but at times it was just a little much.

But that didn't stop me from rooting for her and Penn to finally figure their stuff out. They were perfect together and I thought it was amazing how Penn could calm Daria down and deal with everything she threw at him. It also wasn't hard to love them when there were so many other characters that I absolutely hated. Daria's friends needed to be kicked and there's another character that I hope never gets a story because I absolutely hated her and I know she will never be redeemed for me. I also have to say that it surprised me the issues Daria had with her mom Melody, who was the heroine of Defy since she was a past character. It was a little off-putting to see Melody, a character I once liked in her own story, now someone that I didn't like all that much. Can't say I was a fan of that.

But there was so much in this story that I was a fan of which is why it definitely gets a recommendation from me.
