Molly and Roman are two people suffering from heartache and trying to move on from their past relationships. Which is proving to be a lot harder than they thought it would be. For Molly she just wants to know why her ex left her the way he did. And Roman just wants to understand how his ex could be so selfish and why he still wants her as badly as he does. The two meet when they both need someone in their life and become besties. Feelings start to develop between them when they become close, but neither of them are in a place where they can start a new relationship. Can their friendship last through the attraction or will it ruin everything?
Sigh. It's hard to form the words to describe how I felt about this book. I like the premise of it and I thought it was great how Roman and Molly started off as friends. But the way it all played out just wasn't my favorite and I was getting annoyed at these characters. Their friendship seemed too immature for my tastes and I just didn't find it funny like I think it was supposed to be.
Molly was an all over the place character and I never got a true feeling of who she was. While Roman seemed almost non-existent in this book. It was told through Molly's POV only which I started to hate since there was so much going on in Roman's life that we never got to actually see or hear about in detail. His whole relationship with his ex made absolutely no sense to me and I never fully understood why he even thought he should go back with her. Maybe if we got to see that from his POV I would have gotten it, but as it was I didn't like it at all.
Bottom line, I had issues connecting to these characters and their story was only okay for me. I think the thing that got my attention the most was hearing about Jack and his girl that he was trying to get. I would still recommend this book for fans of the series and think many people will enjoy it and like getting to see past characters again.

I m so happy I m are getting more of the Joker MC. I luvd the first 4 books so I was dyin for this book. I liked the overall story but I was left wanting more. Molly's character is good my heart went out to her throughout this book. She is dealing with a crappy breakup and her heart is broken. Life is just kicking her up the butt. Her family and family's are amazing. She just can't seem to get over Michael until she meets Roman walkin down the road. Molly knows of him but they aren't close close until fate puts them together.
I did enjoy this book but I felt there was to much left open and I was left with loads of questions. I wanted more of the Roman and his ex storyline. It just seem to end and that was it. I felt it was a lil slow in parts. I did luv the relationship that Molly and Roman had they were so good together and really cute. They are both really good people and deserve to have a happy relationship and life. I actually thought this book seemed more personal than fictional which was good I felt that I was getting to know the author more. This book is a lot different to her others. I did miss the drama. This was emotional and I felt sorry for both characters. Even though I did feel a lil frustrated in parts though. This story really did pull at my heartstrings in loads of ways. I really liked parts of this book.
I enjoyed getting to know a lil more from the other kids. It's made me want more. After getting to know Jack and Matilda more I m lookin forward to there books a lot. Jack has me really interested I think this series is goin to be brilliant.
