‘Beard Science’ is the third book in the Winston Brothers series, is a full-length romantic comedy novel, and can be read as a standalone.
I loved Cletus from the very first book in this series so I was just about dying to get my hands on his own book. And he was amazing just like I knew he would be. He's just so awkward that it's adorable and you can't help but want more of him. I really liked learning more about him and getting to see his diabolical side as he blackmailed and tricked people into doing what he wanted.
Jennifer was honestly only okay for me. I liked her character most of the time, but there were many times that I got annoyed at her and wanted to reach through my Kindle to smack the shit out of her. I just wanted her to stand up to her parents and stop doing everything they said and then being sad about it. I'm sorry but if you're in your twenties, then you shouldn't be letting your parents dictate your life the way Jennifer let hers.
Besides Cletus, the number one reason I loved this book so much was the relationship between him and Jennifer. I thought it was great that they started a friendship first before they became anything more and they got to explore each other with no expectations. I honestly thought it was the perfect relationship for Cletus.
Overall, you are seriously missing out if you haven't read any of this series and haven't met Cletus. Beard Science can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading all of the books just because they're all amazing.
