New York Times bestselling author Joanna Wylde returns to the “wild and raw” world of the Reapers MC with the story of Gage and Tinker…

The club comes first.

I’ve lived by those words my whole life—assumed I’d die by them, too, and I never had a problem with that. My Reaper brothers took my back and I took theirs and it was enough. Then I met her. Tinker Garrett. She’s beautiful, she’s loyal, and she works so damned hard it scares me sometimes . . . She deserves a good man—one better than me. I can’t take her yet because the club still needs me. There’s another woman, another job, another fight just ahead.

Now she’ll learn I’ve been lying to her all along. None of it’s real. Not my name, not my job, not even the clothes I wear. She thinks I’m nice. She pretends we’re just friends, that I’ve still got a soul . . . Mine’s been dead for years. Now I’m on fire for this woman, and a man can only burn for so long before he destroys everything around him.

I’m coming for you, Tinker.

Soon.

Gage, aka Cooper, would do anything for his club. They're like family to him, so going undercover for them is the leas he could do. That it, until he's around Tinker Garrett and realizes she's a temptation he almost can't resist. But he has to stay away for the sake of his club, even if it kills him to see her hurt expression every time he walks away from her to be with another girl.

Tinker is back home after her mothers death to take care of her father and the apartments he owns. When Cooper comes to town and takes the job as her maintenance man and movies in, it's just the bit of extra spice she needs in her life. Then she realizes he's looking for someone a bit younger, and bitchier. So she keeps her fantasy trysts to herself and lusts from afar. But there are secrets she doesn't know, and when she finds them out she's not sure if she's going to kick him off her property, or take him to bed.

This almost never happens, and in fact I think it's only happened one other time, but I liked the heroine more than the hero. Crazy, I know, but it's true. I felt like we didn't get to know enough about Gage for me to ever warm up to him completely so I was mostly indifferent about him. Sure he was hot as hell, but I still needed a little more when it came to him.

Tinker, though, I really enjoyed getting to know. She was so strong to move back home and help her father all while going though a divorce from the douchiest ex out there. She really stuck up for herself throughout this book and wouldn't settle for anything expect what she deserved, and I admired that about her character.

I wish we would have seen more of Tinker and Gage together, but what we did get of them I loved. They were so sexy with one another and I loved the raw passion they had. The chemistry between the two was very strong, so even while they were trying to avoid each other you could still see how much they wanted to be together. I enjoyed getting get their story once it all came together, even with how much I craved more of it.

Overall, this is a brilliant book about two people that shouldn't want one another trying to avoid the passion that was forcing them together. I think any fan of a sexy biker book will like this one as much as I did, and I can't wait for everyone to get to read it.
