The Wicked Horse series is one of my favorites from Sawyer Bennett and it just keeps getting better. These books will push your limits and have you gripping your Kindle as you read. Leighton and August had so much going on in this story and it kept everything super intriguing. There was suspense and so much heat you'll be fanning yourself. From page one I was captivated and dying to find out what would happen with August and Leighton. Their journey wasn't always the easiest but it was a really fun one.

The Rock Chick's are some of my most re-read stories and why I still consider this author a favorite of mine even though I've lost interest in some of her newer books over the years. But when I saw this book and read the blurb I couldn't pass it up and I knew I had to read it. And I'm so glad I did because I loved Evie and Danny.

Evie was a great heroine to read about, she was quirky and a little shy but also not afraid to stand up for herself when it mattered the most. I loved that her character evolved so much during the course of this story and that we got to see how being with Danny helped her discover how strong she actually was. She was the perfect match for Danny who was my favorite kind of hero. Strong and silent but with those moments of pure appreciation of Evie's quirks.

There were times that the writing got a little iffy and some of the paragraphs were so hard to read, which is the problem I've had with this authors newer books, but for the most part the story flowed easily and had me enjoying it. Bottom line, I'm so happy that I read this book and gave it a chance. It was like reading old KA and I loved that we got to see some crazy moments with the Rock Chicks bringing the Dream Makers into the fold.

In Emma Chase's Dirty Charmer not only do opposites attract, they have a chemistry so hot you're Kindle will combust. Tommy and Abby are completely different, he's a laid back playboy and she's an overachieving, too-focused Doctor. But that also makes them the perfect couple that gave us so much to love.

Tommy wanted Abby something fierce and he wouldn't let her shy away from him, which I loved. It took them some time, and a little push from Abby's friends, for them to actually start a relationship more than just bodyguard-protectee but once they did the chemistry was off the charts hot. I actually think the author pushed the boundaries a bit with this book and gave the story some of the hottest moments I've read from her.

It was so easy to fall in love with this couple but they didn't have the easiest time considering they both had families betting against them. But in the end it just made their connection that much stronger. Overall, this is definitely a book I'd recommend reading and I'd say it could be read as a standalone with no problem.

Only thing that mattered was getting closer.

Shit.

Wylde is the 7th installment of the Arizona Vengeance series and follows Aaron Wylde. Aaron is confident in his ability to make women swoon but being a hockey player and well known means he doesn't have to work hard to get a woman's attention. Until he sets his sights on Clarke Webber and she seems resistant to his cocky smile.

I loved that Clarke made Aaron work for her attention and didn't care that he was famous. She actually liked him in spite of that. Seeing Aaron out of his element and having to actually try to get Clarke to like him instead of her just falling at his feet like every other woman was the best part of them. It made their connection that much better and made the story so fun to read.

This book can be read as a standalone with no problem but has maybe a few spoilers from some of the previous stories. Being the 7th in a series made it a little difficult for me not to compare it to the other books and that's the main reason for my 3 Star rating. Going into it I was expecting a story as exciting as the others but instead this was a sweet and cute story. While good, I did want a little more to keep my attention and keep me invested in Aaron and Clarke.
