Enchanting Sebastian

Enchanting Sebastian
by Kristen Proby
A Big Sky Royal Novel
Release Date: September 24, 2019

The first in an all new stand-alone trilogy set in Kristen Proby's Big Sky world, Enchanting Sebastian will take your breath away!

Turning thirty-five doesn’t mean much to most men. For Sebastian Wakefield, it’s the end of life as he knows it.

When your father is the King of England, thirty-five is the year that a marriage will be arranged, a suitable bride cementing a future you didn’t choose. The obvious solution for escaping the archaic laws of the throne is for Sebastian to leave the country. And where better to go than America?

Nina Wolfe has spent her career avoiding scandal. As a Hollywood publicist and minor celebrity in her own right, she knows exactly what it takes to keep the media at bay—and what will send them into a frenzy.

Prince Sebastian hiding out in Cunningham Falls, Montana is an unlikely story. Ending up in his bed, even more so. And keeping their arrangement out of the press might just be impossible. The ring on her finger is about to spark a firestorm that will change her life, and no professional spin will help Nina fit into the world of royalty.

Only love could write an enchanting new beginning—if they’ll let themselves fall.

This book was really good I've been looking forward to this book. I don't read the blurb to this author I just know I'm goin to luv it and goin in not know much is alway great. All I needed to know was it had royalty and the Big Sky gang are in it so I knew it was goin to be good. This is the first book in the new series and it was great from start to finish I was hooked. There was drama all the way through so much happened you definitely won't get bored. I was dying to know how things were goin to work out between Nina and Sebastian. They are from very different place but as people they have a few things in common. There attraction to each other was instant Sebastian took one look at Nina knew she was the woman he wanted and would do anything to get. There was a reason why he needed to work fast with Nina time was on his side and he didn't want anyone else.

Nina isn't your normal woman life as been crazy for her being the PA to your brother who is a famous Hollywood actor would make your life crazy but she luvd her brother and would do anything for him. Thinks had gotten less crazy now her brother was married and happy living in Montana where they lived. There was only the 2 of them there mother wasn't the best mother in the world and wore Nina out with her demanding way. She was the only one how to had to deal with her. The history between her mum and brother was very frosty but she tried to keep calm and not lose her temper even though it was hard at times. So with all this craziness she never really made time for men and relationships luv was a thing she would let herself get into. That was until Prince Sebastian ask Nina out. Then after that it was where everything got crazy and Nina's life went from being a normal girl to a princess.

This story was really good I did have a feeling I've read a book a bit like it but I still enjoyed it. Kristen Proby does amazing characters and this book was no different. Even though we got to see some new characters it was great to see the guys from the Big Sky series. That series is amazing and getting more of Nina is really good. Nina as a few different sides to her and some can be annoying but I get why she has them she is trying to protect herself. She hasn't come from a luvin family her brother is the only person to not leave it let her down. So she really needed to work on her trust. Sebastian was a patient guy and he really needed to be at time. Nina can be hard work but whenever he did calm her he just made things work between them. Sebastian isn't perfect well he is but he can be a bit of a nightmare at times to when his jealousy gets in the way. He isnt used to them feelings but where Nina is concerned his jealousy was strong. I would highly recommend this book everything was great I luvd it. If you havent read this other you really should she is brilliant.

I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Royalty books, but I am a huge fan of Kristen Proby so I was excited to get my hands on this story. Especially after meeting Nina in Kissing Jenna and knowing without a doubt that she'd have an amazing book.

Sebastian and Nina's relationship was complicated in a way, but it was also very easy, which I liked a lot. There was very low angst and drama, and we got to see them grow as a couple even though it started out as just an arrangement. I loved that we were able to see how they were able to move from neither of them wanting a real relationship to then seeing them fall in love for real.

Overall, definitely a recommended read and one I can't wait to see everyone else love as much as I did. The book doesn't end on a cliffhanger per se, but it definitely leaves you wanting more about a secondary character so I'm dying to get that story.

"Rival families. Deep secrets. Exact opposites who can't help but cross all the lines. Neat will leave you thirsty for more Becker Brothers!" -- bestselling author Staci Hart
Neat, an all-new standalone contemporary romance by Kandi Steiner is LIVE!

Neat Cover FINAL.png

My life is over.

I swore I would never work at the whiskey distillery with my last name on it, that I would never be a part of my father’s legacy. But when I graduated with my art degree and realized there were no jobs, the devil appeared, and I sold my soul, agreeing to work in the family business if he’d give me the art studio I’d always dreamed of.

It can’t be that bad, I thought.

Until I realized my new boss was Logan Becker.

The Becker brothers have a reputation for being trouble, and since I love trouble, it’s no surprise to me that I’m infatuated by that forbidden fruit the first day I walk into the distillery. That lean, whiskey-eyed, too-hot-for-his-own-good man hates me — and I can’t blame him. His family has been at war with mine for decades, and for good reason.

The Beckers and the Scooters are the Montagues and Capulets of Stratford, Tennessee.
But if he’s Romeo, and I’m Juliet? Well… we all know how that story ends — and for that reason, I tell myself to steer clear.

Because if my father finds out I’m falling for Logan Becker, my life actually will be over.
And Logan’s will be, too.

Neat was an intriguing story and I really liked the opposites-attract premise that it had. Logan and Mallory were so fun to read about and one of the big reasons I liked them so much was because they suited each other so well. Where Logan was organized and living life in black and white, Mallory was carefree and colorful. Seeing how well they came together had me devouring the book, especially when I was dying for them to give in to their chemistry.

And the story was also very intriguing itself. There was an underlying story going on surrounding Logan's family, especially his deceased father, that I was very interested in. And even though that story wasn't exactly resolved, I'm super excited to continue that in the next Becker brother's book.

Excerpt:

“So… I guess we should just be…” Logan swallowed. “Friends?”

The way he asked it, the way his eyebrows bent together, his lips flattening — I knew it
was a hollow offer.

I nodded. “Sure. Of course.” A smile that felt like a wave of nausea found my lips.
“Friends.”

Logan watched me, and I watched him, both of us waiting for something more. It seemed
like there were a million unborn words between us, floating in the air, waiting for us to reach out
and grab them and bring them to life. When a long moment of silence had passed, Logan bit the
inside of his cheek, picking up his highlighter he’d abandoned on the desk when I’d walked in
like he was ready to get back to work.

“But,” I said, and his eyes snapped to mine, the highlighter frozen over the page. “I
mean… there’s another option, isn’t there?”

Logan dropped the highlighter, leaning back again. “There is?”

“I’m just saying,” I said, voice shakier than I wanted it to be in that moment. I took a sip
of my coffee, shrugging. “What if we kept things low key… casual… just between us?” My eyes
found his again. “It is what it is, and it’s not what it’s not. Right? No need for anyone to know.”
“Low key,” Logan repeated, like he was tasting the words, checking them for poison with
his tongue. “So, friends… with benefits.”

I snorted. “If you want to be twenty-one about it, sure.”

Logan nodded, over and over, just a slight movement of his chin up and down as he
considered it. I watched him as he stood, and I expected him to start pacing the office, but
instead, he crossed it, closing his door and turning to face me.

His eyes swept over me, sparking a fire low in my stomach.

He wet his lips.

He took a step.

And then I was out of my chair, meeting him in the middle, the two of us crashing
together like magnets.

His hands weaved into my hair when he captured my mouth with his own, both of us
sighing on an inhale, moaning on the exhale, leaning into each other like we could somehow
melt together completely. All the electricity I’d felt that night came back like a tidal wave, and I
surrendered to the waves, letting them drown me. I wanted him to fill my lungs, to conquer every
breath, to imprison me.

It was a kiss that told me we were both lying. We both wanted more.

But if it was a choice between this, or nothing at all?

There wasn’t a decision to make — not where I was concerned. It had already been made
for us, without either of us having a say, without either of us having an ounce of control to throw
this story in another direction.

We were inevitable, me and him.

And maybe we knew it from the start.

Logan backed me up to the desk, and when my ass hit it, I hiked both legs up, wrapping
them around his waist and squeezing. He hissed, sucking my bottom lip between his teeth and
releasing it with a pop, his hips rolling against mine. I broke the kiss to let out a gasp, and his
mouth was on my neck in an instant, sucking and biting, my eyes rolling back at the contact.
He paused with his lips by my ear, breathing heavy. “I think this could work for me,” he
whispered, running his tongue over my ear lobe. “This… friends agreement.” His hands
squeezed where they held my hips, and the familiar pressure sent flashes of Saturday night
barreling through my memory. I gasped, mouth still hanging open when he kissed my neck over
to the opposite ear to whisper again. “What do you think?”

Against the voice inside me warning me not to, I ran my fingers through his hair,
gripping those dark strands and pulling his lips back to mine.

That kiss was an answer.

That kiss was a lie.

And distantly, I realized that kiss might be the biggest mistake of my life.

Code Name: Sentinel

Code Name: Sentinel (Jameson Force Security, Book #2) Sawyer Bennett Release Date: September 10, 2019

As a former member of the United States Secret Service, I’m no stranger to putting my life on the line in the name of duty. Having left the nation’s capital to re-settle in Pittsburgh, the skills I acquired during my tenure in Washington have made me a valued member of the team at Jameson Force Security. But when the President comes seeking a favor to protect his niece, I find myself on the fast track back to the Oval Office.

Simply put… she’s beyond brilliant. A nationally renowned energy scientist, Barrett Alexander is on the verge of a breakthrough that will change the world. Unfortunately, that has also made her the target of a suspected terrorist cell. And while Barrett doesn’t believe she’s in any real danger, the President isn’t willing to take chances with her life.

As the threats against Barrett become more calculated, I decide taking her on the run is her best chance of survival. Danger, isolation, and attraction ensure we grow closer than I’d ever thought possible. When I realize I want to keep her safe for reasons that have nothing to do with my job and everything to do with the woman I’ve fallen in love with, no one is safe from the hell I’ll rain down on those that threaten her.

This series is brilliant so far. I luvd the first so much but this book was just had good. I was excited when I found out this book was goin to be Cruce. He found him mysterious in the first book and was looking forward to getting to know more about him. This guy is super sexy and a hero. No he is a hero he saved the US President from getting shot. But he has stepped down and is now working with the Jamison guys. But his first mission ends up being for the US President and it's to protect his niece Barrett.

Barrett I luv this woman. She is so hard-working all this woman has done is work she hasn't really loved a life like a normal young woman. Her work means everything to her and what she does is important. But now her work is causing drama cause the formula she is working on is wanted by someone else and there so long to do anything to get it from her. Even with this all goin on she is still funny at times and is up beat I really liked her and her personality. When things were getting worst everyday she still did has they asked she never fought them she just listened and did it. She might not of been happy but she just kept her head up and did it. Barrett hasnt had the easiest of lives but she has dealt well with it. The President might be her uncle but she was so close to him and after everything she has been through he means the world to her and she will do anything to make him happy.

I really enjoyed this book it kept me in my toes throughout the whole book. I was dying to know who was causing all the trouble for Barrett. It was really good to see the walls start to come down with Cruce. His work is important to him and he takes it really serious but it hard to stay that why when you have a gorgeous intelligent woman living with and near you. There attraction to each other was hot they were really great together and were good for each other. They both needed each other to take themselves away from work. It was a break they both needed. I'm really looking forward to more of this series I can't wait for Bebe and Saints books. There characters have caught my interest and I dying to know more about them. I would highly recommend this book and series.

Code Name: Sentinel is the second book in the Jameson Force Security series. This time we get to follow retired Secret Service agent Cruce Britton as he's brought back onto the White House scene when the President's niece is targeted. Bennett Alexander is one of the world's leading energy scientist and she's getting close to changing the world with clean energy. Her life revolves around her work, but with the threat getting closer to her she has no other choice but to leave DC and let Cruce take her somewhere she can't be find. With just the two of them together she finds that work isn't the only thing in life and taking a break, especially with Cruce, isn't such a bad thing.

I really enjoyed reading this book. Cruce and Britton were the complete opposite of each other, and I actually thought we'd see some tension between them because of that. But that wasn't the case, instead we had so many moments where the chemistry sparked between them and I loved getting to see that. The attraction mixed with the suspense of trying to figure out who was after Britton and why had me captivated.

This story focuses mainly on Cruce and Britton but there's always a member of the Jameson Security team somewhere in the background and I loved getting to see parts of those other characters. So far I've loved every member that we've been introduced to and with every new member we meet I get more and more excited to read more of this series. There's so much to look forward to from this series and I definitely recommend reading it.

Jock Road

EAT. SLEEP. FOOTBALL.

Those are Jackson Jennings, Jr’s three mantras. His entire life, he’s been a trained athlete with only one end-game: the Pro’s. No girls. No parties. No alcohol.

EAT. SLEEP. FOOTBALL.
Repeat.

Every Friday night, Triple J cruises the strip on campus, bored, lonely and conditioned not to party. But the night he meets Charlotte Edmonds on the side of the road, he wonders if his three mantras will ever be enough.

BIG. DUMB. JOCK.
Charlie has no time for Jackson’s antics. Not when he’s stealing her food or teases her to no end, making her tingle in all the right places. But if she’s ever going to have a boyfriend, she’d choose one who isn’t a Neanderthal. One with manners and actual time to spend with her. Not a hulking man-child who cruises the strip at night, in his Big. Dumb. Truck.

Available HERE:
Free in KU

Jock Road has one of the most adorable heroes that Sara Ney has ever written. I wanted to just cuddle him this entire book and was swooning all over the place. He was such a contradiction and it worked so well with the story. The big jock football player, with the southern drawl and jacked up pickup truck would probably make think that you'd be reading another of this authors douchebag heroes. But that's not the case at all. Jackson was actually a super cute, shy, guy that was so easy to fall for. His character was the one that had me smiling so much while I was reading this story and he made it a very fun book.
As much as I loved him though I found myself struggling with a few parts of this story. The pace was pretty fast, which didn't bother me at all, until we got to the end and everything felt like it was moving a little too fast and without not enough information. Even the relationship seemed to jump from the just-starting-out stages to the I love you's very quickly. It also left some things feeling unfinished.
And even though I love a good southern hero, there were a few too many times that Jackson's accent was pointed out. If happened over and over again where he would say something and then either in italics right after that the phrase would be typed again but spelled like the accent would sound, or Charlie would repeat what he said and again it would be in the spelling that made it clear he had an accent. It just got to be a little annoying, like I get it he has an accent...move on already.
"Why do you think I was talkin' so stupid?"
"Tawkin," She echoes, "...tawkin stoopid"

Overall, I enjoyed reading this story and I obviously loved Jackson. Even with the issues I had while reading I still thought it was a great NA romance and I would definitely recommend reading it. It can be read as a standalone with no problem.

Jock Road is the third book in the series. They aren't connected there standalone. I've enjoyed this series so much. The characters and stories have been great and this book was the same. This Book is quite different to the other 2 books but that was good. Jackson plays for the football team but he isn't like your normal footballer. Ye he's big, strong sexy and has woman all over him. But he doesn't want them well that's what he's been told for year that woman will ruin his career and distract him. He father is very hard on him but Jackson just want him to be proud of him. So he has done everything his dad has said until Charlie comes exploding into his life.

Charlie is a great character I luv how sassy she is and the banter she has with Jackson. I did find her annoying at time when she kept goin on about Jackson southern accent. I get you like it but it just was a bit to much after a while. I did like they way Jackson and Charlie met it was funny. The banter between them was great they kept each other on there toes. There connection was instant but I found the chase to go on a lil to long. I just wanted to see what Jackson was goin to be like with Charlie when he finally sorted his head out.

I enjoyed this book but there were just a few things that I found dragged a little. It was good that the characters were different and Charlie was the more experienced in a relationship. Jackson show how vulnerable he was at times and I did find it a bit weird caused in so used to having strong men in books but it was good as well cause some woman are more experienced. This did make me luv Jackson more and showed all men don't have to alpha. I would recommend this book I enjoyed it but I don't think it's the best in this series. But I'm a big fan of this author I luv her stories and characters and can wait to see what she does next.
