Dirty Wife Games follows Hyun, who you would have first met if you read Dirty Bride Games. This book takes place in the present time after she escaped from the Marino brothers and their twisted game. But now she has another psychotic man after her, and this one isn't going to stop until he gets what he wants.

Let me just say that this book can be read completely on it's own and there's only one very small cameo from a character from the first book. But with that being said I did sort of compare the two stories and I found this one a little lacking. There wasn't much craziness until the end, which I was fine with at first, but then when it all came up it felt sudden and not like it went along with the story. 

Hyun and Drake were okay characters but I was never able to connect to them. My big issue was that this story jumped around a lot. From POV to POV after only short excerpts from a character and also between the present and the past. I am not a fan of stories that jump back and forth, and this one did it a lot. Just my own personal preference to stay in the present. 

What saved this story for me was the sexiness, and the shocker that comes at the end. Hyun and Drake had some great sexual chrmistry and every time they were together my eyes were glued to the page and reality left my mind. Then at the end everything was tied together really well and it made me appreciate this story more than I had in the beginning so I really liked that. Plus I love when a book can give me a really good shock. 

Overall, I did enjoy the reading experience that came from this story and I'm glad I got to read it. I think this will be a good introduction to the Indecent Games series if you're not yet ready for the truly insane story that this author can come up with.

Nick went back to staring at the report. “Hayley’s not mine. She was Desiree’s cousin. Now she’s my client.”

Who had been tired the night before and that was why she’d said the things she’d said. This morning she’d seemed much more sensible. After she’d had some sleep and a shower and had straightened herself up, she’d been quiet and seemingly reflective. She was very likely embarrassed by what had been said the night before.

I would get safety from murderers and I would get orgasms. I’m sorry, Nicky, you’re going to tell me how that’s a bad deal for me.

He was going to make sure she understood that his protection wasn’t based on whether or not she slept with him.

Because he wasn’t sleeping with her. He couldn’t hurt her that way again.

“So she was your old lover’s cousin,” Owen mused. “The lover you weren’t exclusive with and who wouldn’t marry you. The pretty girl who looks at you like you’re the sun in the sky is her cousin.”

Anger flared through his system. “Don’t you dare. I told you I would take care of her.”

His arms crossed over his big chest and Nick knew he’d been had. “Well, that answers the question with more honesty. You can pretend, but you like the girl. And if you honestly don’t then you need to know that the boys got a good look at her last night. If she’s going to be hanging about, she should be ready for some serious male attention.”

“What are you talking about?”

“The lads talked it over last night and decided there’s no dibs on this one. They all saw her at pretty much the same time. They looked over that dead body and saw her walking in the hall and that was when the fighting started. We all sat down and decided no dibs on her. She’ll get to pick. You should know that Sasha and Jax have decided if she picks either of them, they’re willing to share. I don’t play that way. That’s something I do know about meself. No need for you to be telling me that tale. If there’s going to be some sharing in the bedroom, it’s going to be the traditional kind between a man and a woman and her stacked best friend. That’s what I say.”

“You tell those boys to stay away from her or they will be dealing with me. They will not like to be dealing with me. I will put up with many things from them. They can poke all the corpses they like. They can punch each other. I do not care. They touch Hayley and I will be caring.”

“Wow, now you do sound Russian. A scary Russian. Still, I think if you don’t want the girl, shouldn’t she be allowed to choose? Think about it. It could be fun.”

“Are we talking about the lost boys and their battle for the new chick?” Kayla strode in, her hair in a high ponytail. It bounced as she walked, a testament to her seemingly ever-sunny personality. “I had babysitting duty last night and they kept talking about her even after lights out. Bad boys. I had a plan though. I think we make them compete in a beauty pageant. Hayley gets to judge.”

“I’m judging a beauty pageant?” Hayley followed behind Kay, and both women were followed by Charlotte Taggart and Penelope Knight. It looked like Hayley was rapidly being accepted by the women on his team.

That was not necessarily a good thing. The women on his team could create chaos like no others.

“That sounds like fun,” Charlotte said with a smile. “I think we should require Speedos for the bathing suit competition. No boring board shorts. If Hayley’s picking a lover, she needs to see some booty.”

Hayley stopped, her cheeks going the sweetest color of pink. “Wait. What?”

Penelope put a hand on her arm. “They’re teasing you, dear. Don’t worry about it. The lads will be very polite. Though you should expect some suitors while you’re here. Especially if you come down to the dungeon.”

Now he was the one flushing. “Excuse me?”

Hayley shook her head as she joined him at the table. “It’s nothing. I was just talking to the girls. Did you get the report? Penny said the Dallas office had found something.”

He was all too aware that they weren’t alone. Damon and Ian walked in with Brody Carter and Walter Bennett. The four men settled into chairs as the women joined them. Nick held out a chair for Hayley. He would have to remember that he couldn’t leave her alone for a minute or someone would be whispering in her ear, giving her ideas she shouldn’t have.

Like visiting The Garden on a play night.

Holy wow this book was one amazing prologue. I really liked that this story gave me a lot of information about these characters without being too much for such a short story. Instead, in just a small amount of pages Laurelin Paige was able to grab my attention and then left me begging for more. I already can't wait for the next book to come out and I know I'm going to love these characters when they get together again.

Dark Protector was a very fast paced story and I loved that it never stopped that momentum it had from the beginning. Right from the first chapter we're kept on this race of murders and kidnapping, and the whole story was very intriguing. 

I really enjoyed seeing Conrad with Charlie, and it was great that she could surprise this hardened killer. I liked both characters and I felt they suited each other really well. One of Conrad's friends made an appearance too and I hope there will be more to come from him. 

Bottom line, this was a great book. It's not very dark so I think anyone that likes a fast suspense to read will enjoy this one.

The story progresses from when Killian and Rylee are young and then skips five years after they turn 18 and have a bit of a falling out. I liked that we got to see their relationship prgress from childhood friends to more and it was really intriguing to read. I honeslty don't think I've ever read a book that was that involved in the main characters' younger years, but I'm a fan of how this author did that.

I do have to say though, the book lost my interest just a little after that time jump when I was trying to pick back up with the characters and their lived. Though for Killian, his character wasn't much different. 

I don't want to say too much about this book because I feel like it's something best experienced without too much prior knowledge of what's to come. What I will say is that I think if you can handle a little darkness, then this is a story you really need to pick up. It was captivatingly haunting to watch these character grow together in the wake of destruction and I'm so glad I got to experience their story.

This book was just brilliant I loved everything about it it was a bit like Cinderella but Prince Charming is even sexier an he as a smart hot mouth an this story is way more hotter then the Fairy tale Prince Nicholas know how to make a woman melt an he made Olivia melt just with his voice an once she seen him she couldn't get enough but there first meeting wasn't as perfect as she would of liked he was a bit of a knob but Olivia as been through enough an can handle herself very well she's a New Yorker an as been dealt a few crappy hands in life but she keeps her chin up but Nicholas's life isn't al that rosy either he as a lot of pressure in his life he is the next heir to the throne an his Grandmother can be pretty hard on him an he goes along with it but when he meets Olivia plans don't go the way they should 

Again Emma Chase as done an amazing job of giving me another sexy guy to drool over an not just any guy a Prince an I just loved him Prince Nicholas is so sexy I couldn't get enough of him the story was brilliant I loved how he was with Olivia he was so madly in love with her an she was the same they make such a great couple then u have Prince Henry OMG he is a lil manwhore an is so cheeky but cute I m dying for his story 

There isn't anything that I didn't like about this book I d highly recommend it it made me laugh in parts an I did get a lump in my throat in parts to the characters were really as well the story had a great flow the duel pov was great I love a male pov getting into there head an knowing what there thinking is good once I started this I hated putting it down I was hooked straight away but I knew I would b Ive enjoyed al of this author's books I m looking for more of this series I can't get enough xxx 

Olivia is struggling to keep her mothers pie shop open. Which isn't easy when she doesn't have the help she needs and she's beyond stressed out. So when an arrogant, too good looking, man comes into the shop and suggests she sleep with him for money, she's done. She throws a pie in his face and tells him to get out. So she never would have guessed that he'd return, or that he'd be a Prince with a very serious proposition for her. 

Shockingly this is my first Emma Chase book. I have a few other of her on my tbr but I've never gotten around to them. I am definitely going to try to rectify that situation very soon though because I loved her writing. She made it very easy to believe in this made up country and a fictional Royal family. 

These characters were well written and I easily got engrossed in their lives. I loved that Nicholas wasn't some stuck up, rick Prince that would be a brat when he didn't get his way. Instead he was hard working and cared about the people in his country. He and Olivia were perfect together and I liked seeing her let go of her independence just a little. She didn't let Nicholas control her but she would give in sometimes and let him take care of her. It was great to see her being taken care of instead of being the one taking care of everyone.

So here's my issue with the book. Emma Chase made it way too good! Now I'm just left wondering where the hell my Prince is to come sweep me off my feet. It's not fair that this isn't real.

I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but holy wow Jay Crownover is one amazing author. She has a unique ability to take a simple storyline and turn it into something spectacular. She somehow subtly entwines real life issues into her stories and I am in love with how she does that. 

Riveted follows Dixie Carmichael as she tries to find her forever person. She's sure that the one she's supposed to be with is the big and brooding Church, but he doesn't seem to want her back. Not one to chase after a man, she gives up and enters the crazy, and sometimes too ridiculous to believe, dating game. 

But Church needs her help with his long overdue family reunion and Dixie can't deny him. The two head to Church's hometown of Lowry Mississippi where Church hasn't stepped foot for over a decade. He prepared himself for all the obstacles he thought he would face back in his hometown, but what he didn't prepare himself for were the feelings Dixie invokes in him.

Church is a character that has really intrigued me in the past because of his quiet intensity. I'm a sucker for a Hero like him and he was exactly what I wanted him to be. He kept his issues bottled up and wouldn't let people in until Dixie came around and forced him to face his past. I found them perfect together because she had the ability to make him smile when nothing else could.

Dixie was a very interesting character to read about. She wasn't overly happy to where it got annoying but it was easy to always be smiling because of her. I have no clue how Jay pulled off writing the complexity of her character because I can barely even describe her while also making sense. She was happy and cheerful so much of the time but there was also the underlying emotions of her wanting someone to be there for her. I really liked that she had so much going on and it made her very intriguing.

Overall, I definitely recommend this book and this author if you haven't read her before. Riveted can easily be read as a standalone but I hope you'll read the other books in the series since they're just as good. And fans of the Saints of Denver series will be very happy to know (if you didn't already) that Poppy's story will be next!

This book was brilliant. I really enjoyed it. I was dying to know aghast was holding Church back from being with Dixie (I just luv that name). Dixie is such an amazing girl she sees the best in everyone and everything. Life hasn't been easy for her but things could always be worst. I really liked how she was so up beat even dealing with Church and his broody ways. I don't think I could of spent so long loving someone without getting even a lil bit back. But she would do anything for Church. 

Like I said I was dying to know more about Church. I knew he was in the army with Rome and then Rome helped him with job. But there was something about this sexy strong man that had me wondering why he couldn't let go with Dixie. She was the woman that turned everything from dark to light. Church's past wasn't very really a happy one he lost a lot of people that he loved and this was his reasons for signing up and getting away from it al. It's also the reason he didn't go home as soon as he was back in America. But know he had to go home and deal with the people who had missed him so much at home and he had to turn to the person who he didn't want to get close to Dixie.

I really enjoyed this book. The story was really good. I wanted to know how things were going to go with these two very different people. I 've luvd this series so much. The characters are just brilliant. It was great to get a little but our Poppy and Wheeler. The end of epilogue had got me dyin for there book. I just know it's goin to amazing. I feel like I 've been waiting forever for it. Overall I really enjoyed everything about this book. I would highly recommend it.
