Dani and Easy's story wasn't a simple one, and they had a lot of obstacles they needed to hurdle. Dani is still trying to move on from the death of her husband, Easy friend, and trying to figure out what to do with her life now. Easy is still trying his damnedest to move past the feelings he has for his friends wife, but he's finding it harder than he thought it would be. Especially when Dani starts reaching out to him, in need of a friend.

Easy stole my heart from the very moment he was introduced in Fly with Me and I absolutely adored him. In his own story he actually started to break my heart when it was clear how much he wanted Dani but couldn't have her. I just wanted him to get the Happy Ever After that he deserved. With Dani he was so attentive it was swoon worthy and I wanted to take him away from her and keep him for myself.

Their relationship is predictable, but in the best way possible. Yes, I could guess what was going to happen but that never stopped me from loving ever moment of their story. I just kept reading and was waiting to see their reactions to everything with bated breath and wide eyes. I loved that I was so involved in their story and it was just that good. Both of these characters were amazing and together they were explosive.

On Broken Wings is a story that I hope everyone will give a chance. It's the third in the Wild Aces series but could be read as a standalone. Very low angst, sweetness overload, and so much heat you'll need oven-mitts to handle this book.

To be honest I was very nervous to read Ink Exposed book and I didn't think I would end up liking Alex's story as much as his siblings'. I don't usually like books where the main character has or had an addiction but I've loved this series so much that I wasn't willing to skip this book. And I'm happy to say that I ended up really enjoying it and fell in love with Alex, which I didn't think was possible.

This book had an undertone acceptance and moving on and I appreciated the message that the author was trying to convey through her story. Alex messed up a lot in his past and he turned to alcohol to get over the demons that were chasing him, but now he's attempting to move on the best way he knows how. He's scared that he's going to hurt someone again so he chooses to stay away, even from his family. But when his work brings him around Tabby he can't seem to keep himself from her and slowly she helps him realize that he's not the bad guy he's made himself in his head.

Alex and Tabby didn't have an easy time of getting to a good place in their relationship but they worked together to get their and I loved them for it. Tabby was a soft-spoken and kind woman but that doesn't mean she didn't kick Alex's ass to get him to see he wasn't evil. I liked seeing her stand up for him and it really showed the kind of connection that she and Alex had.

The thing I was most afraid of in this book, Alex's drinking, actually ended up being handled in the perfect way that this book needed and I was happy to see that there wasn't too much drama because of it. This is such a great series and I hope that everyone will give it a chance. I mean, it has hot tatted up guys so why wouldn't you? And Tabby's brothers make an appearance so if they get a series for themselves I wouldn't complain at all. Hint hint, Ms. Ryan.

“Look, we both know the other night was…”

“Incredible.”

She sighed. “Okay, yes, incredible, but also…”

“Passionate.”

“Can you let me finish?”

He smiled. “Fine, but first…” Taking her face in his hands he lowered his lips to hers. The surprise look in her eyes should have given him cause to reconsider, but the hell with it. It didn’t matter that he knew he’d crossed a line and he’d broken some sort of bro code; for the first time in his life, he was ready to go after what he wanted. And after the night they shared, he knew she wanted him to.

She closed her eyes and fell into him, and he deepened the kiss, savoring the taste of her peppermint lip gloss and sliding his fingers through her soft hair. Her hands were pressed against his chest, but she wasn’t pushing him away. Instead, they clutched the fabric of his T-shirt, drawing him even closer.

When he reluctantly broke away a moment later, he was happy to see Abby was as out of breath as he was. “Okay, now you can talk.”

“I don’t remember what I was going to say.” She sighed, resting her forehead against his chest. “What are we doing?”

He leaned back and, placing a finger under her chin, forced her gaze to his. “I’m doing what I should have done a long time ago. Abby, I know I should keep holding back how I feel for you because of Dean, but the truth is, that friendship isn’t worth giving up this chance with you. I’m not even sure I know my friend anymore, after how he treated you and Dani.”

“Jackson, I just got divorced. I’m not ready for…this. Whatever this is. I’m sorry my kissing you and…other things have been misleading, but I’m not sure I can do a relationship right now. Dani and I are starting over and rebuilding a life here.”

He nodded. “I’m not asking for anything except a chance. I know you’ve been through a lot. I know you may still…have feelings for Dean,” he said through clenched teeth. The idea that he might always have to compete for her full affections made him even more determined to prove that he was the right one for her. Had always been the right one.

She shook her head and started to say something, but he placed a finger to her lips.

“And that’s okay. I just want a chance to prove to you I would never hurt you the way he did. I don’t care how long it takes. Take your time. I’m not going anywhere, Abby. My love is not going anywhere.”

She swallowed hard and her eyes widened at his words. “I can’t promise I’ll ever be ready,” she whispered.

“I’ll keep waiting,” he said firmly. Then he smiled. “On one condition.”

She frowned. “Which is?”

“You and Dani come to the fall fair this weekend with Taylor and me.”

“No.”

“It won’t be a date,” he said quickly. “Just two friends hanging out.”

She sighed again. “I think we skipped over ‘friends,’ don’t you?” she asked.

“Well, then friends shouldn’t be that difficult,” he countered. He wasn’t about to let her push him away. Not when he was finally ready to show her how much he cared about her.

“Fine. But I don’t think friends sit on the same side of the table, so get over there,” she said, trying to nudge him out of the booth.

He stayed exactly where he was. “This friend does.”

I am having an amazing year for finding new authors and now I can add Jennifer Snow to my list of must-read's. I really liked her take on the friends to lovers trop with the added tension of an almost enemies to lovers quality.

I enjoyed reading this story, and Jackson stole my heart with his sweet and sensitive nature. I loved how he was with Abby and they made a really cute couple. Abby was a strong character and I liked her throughout the whole book. Their relationship was captivating with not a lot of angst and just the right amount of intrigue.

It was a little frustrating when I was practically screaming at Jackson to tell Abby how he felt and he just wasn't hearing me. When they finally got together there it was all good from there and I didn't have any other issues. Overall, a recommend from me and I hope many people will give this book a chance. I can't wait to go back and read the authors other work.

Men want to be him and women want to be thoroughly cross examined by him.

Stanton’s a man with a plan. And for a while, life was going according to that plan.

Until the day he receives an invitation to the wedding of his high school sweetheart and mother of his beloved ten-year old daughter. Jenny is getting married — to someone who isn’t him.

That's definitely not part of the plan.

But when Stanton, her "friend with mind-blowing benefits" begs for help, she finds herself out of her element, out of her depth, and obviously out of her mind. Because she agrees to go with him – to The-Middle-Of-Nowhere, Mississippi – to do all she can to help Stanton win back the woman he loves.

Her head tells her she's crazy...and her heart says something else entirely.

The night I met Drew Jagger, he’d just broken into my new Park Avenue office.
I dialed 9-1-1 before proceeding to attack him with my fancy new Krav Maga skills.
He quickly restrained me, then chuckled, finding my attempted assault amusing.

Of course, my intruder had to be arrogant.
Only, turned out, he wasn’t an intruder at all.

Drew was the rightful occupant of my new office. He’d been on vacation while his posh space was renovated.
Which was how a scammer got away with leasing me office space that wasn’t really available for rent.
I was swindled out of ten grand.

The next day, after hours at the police station, Drew took pity on me and made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. In exchange for answering his phones while his secretary was out, he’d let me stay until I found a new place.
I probably should have acted grateful and kept my mouth shut when I overheard the advice he was spewing to his clients. But I couldn’t help giving him a piece of my mind.
I never expected my body to react every time we argued. Especially when that was all we seemed to be able to do.

The two of us were complete opposites. Drew was a bitter, angry, gorgeous-as-all-hell, destroyer of relationships. And my job was to help people save their marriages.
The only thing the two of us had in common was the space we were sharing.
And an attraction that was getting harder to deny by the day.

His to Cherish by Stacey Lynn
Series: Fireside #3
Publication Date: November 15th, 2016
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Loveswept

his-to-cherish

Can two hearts entwined by hardship move on to form a healthy bond? From the author of His to Love and His to Protect, this tender, bittersweet romance brings together a man who loses everything—and a woman with everything to give.

Chelsea Dwyer arrives home from her job at the middle-school library in Latham Hills, Michigan, expecting another quiet evening—until she hears the screams for help through her living room window. As the first witness to a terrible accident involving two local students, Chelsea doesn’t anticipate how her own life will be irrevocably changed by the father of one of the boys. In the wake of tragedy, she’s the only one who seems to understand his grief. Chelsea’s a survivor, too—and she knows that there are brighter days ahead.

As a single father, Aidan Deveraux worked his entire life to provide a stable home for his son, Derrick. Without him, Aidan feels the deepest despair imaginable. The one thing that keeps him going is his connection with the woman who tried to save his son. Hard as he tries, Aidan just can’t stay away. Chelsea’s warm embrace is the comforting solace he desperately craves—and it doesn’t hurt that Aidan had noticed the beautiful librarian and wanted to ask her out for years. Now that she’s in his life, he doesn’t ever want to let go.

I was not prepared for the emotions that this book brought out of me. From the very first page the story was pulling at my heartstrings and I found myself tearing up on more than one occasion. It wasn't just what I was reading about, it was how powerful and raw the author portrayed these emotions through the characters.

For such a haunting story this was actually also very beautiful. I loved seeing Aidan and Chelsea together and leaning on one another. I wanted to just hug Aidan, hold him tight, and somehow make what he was going through better. But since I couldn't jump into the book and do that, I'm glad I got to see Chelsea with him. They supported each other and they truly were an amazing couple.

I don't want to say too much about this story because I feel it's better for readers to go in blind and experience all the emotions I did. But I will say that I loved these characters and their story wasn't a pretty one, but it was the perfect one for them. Highly recommended by me.

367 Days

367 Days
Jessica Gadziala
November 11, 2016

I’m not crazy.
It’s not amnesia.
But I somehow lost a year of my life.

When the cops and doctors think you’re out of your mind, but you still need answers, where else is there to turn but a private investigator?

Sawyer is nothing you’d want in a friend- a little detached, cool, sarcastic, cocksure. But he’s everything you’d want in a private investigator- calm, capable, experienced, and just jaded enough by the darkness he’d seen to take a chance on some random girl who insists something more sinister must have happened to her than simple memory loss.

But thrown together, trying to get to the root of my mystery, feelings that were most definitely not client/professional start to emerge.

Riya woke up not knowing what was happening, she had missed a whole year of her life an she didn't know how she had gone to the police station and the hospital but one one would believe her. They thought she was crazy but she wasn't,she needed someone to believe her. When she found a private investigators office she thought she might as well give them a shot hoping they would help her out with what had happened to her, but when she went in she didn't really expect to see Sawyer. She thought he would just laugh at her once she shared her story with him, but he didn't.He didn't agree to take the case either,he needed to know more first. He couldn't take just any case but one thing he knew was that something wasn't right.

Sawyer and Riya's attraction was strong from the start. They both found each other attractive and both weren't really into having a relationship.Sawyer didn't date clients and Riya had had a few crappy ex's, she didn't need another. But Sawyer found he was putting himself out for Riya more than he had ever done with any woman or client before. There was something about her that didn't deserve the sadness she was going through and he wanted to be the one that put her a smile back on her face.

I really enjoyed seeing how Sawyer and Riya's relationship developed. Sawyer is this strong man that has his own past that isn't pretty but the way he was with Riya was just so cute.He did things you would never think he would and this just made me love him.Riya really needed someone to look after her after all the crap she had gone through. She was such a great person and would help out anyway she could and everyone she was around would say the same thing. There was just no way that Sawyer wasn't going to help her.

When I heard about this book I was dying to get my hands on it. Finding out that you have missed a whole year of your life would be totally crazy so I was dying to know how this story was going to go. Then put Sawyer into the mix and I really couldn't wait for it and I wasn't disappointed at all.It started really well,I couldn't get enough of the story the twists,I had me shocked in parts and I do love that in a book.

I would highly recommend this book.I loved everything about it,the story flowed really well and kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The main characters were just brilliant and I really liked the other characters. Brock was so funny, Tig was a big softy and if u have read other books from this author you will of heard of Sawyers brother Barrett. He is quite different to Sawyer but just as good.I m really looking forward to reading more of them xxx

It's not a secret that I am a huge Jessica Gadziala fan, especially since I'm pretty sure I say that in every review I do of her books. But 367 Days was something that I haven't experienced from her before and I think I love her a little more now. This book has the usual JG flair with a hot Alpha Hero and a heroine that is tough yet sweet. But this time JG delivers us a surprise of mystery and suspense that really made this book something extra special and had me captivated from the very beginning.

Riya wakes up behind a dumpster, confused, scared, and with no memory of what happened after she left her house one year and two days ago. No memory, no money, no ID, and no place to live. The police and doctors think she's just a loony that escaped the bin which leads her to Anderson's Private Investigations, her last hope in finding out what happened to make her lose 367 days of her memory.

Riya expects Sawyer Anderson to just be another person that thinks she's insane and doesn't have much hope that he'll help her. But when Sawyer gets a look at the scared girl sitting across his desk he knows he has to help her. And when he lets her stay at his place things heat up between the two and Sawyers protective instincts come out full force.

There were some definite shocks throughout this book and I honestly had no clue which direction the story would go. I love when a book can surprise me and this one definitely did that. I didn't have even one hint of what would happen when I started reading and it kept me interested and on the edge of my seat. I don't want to say too much about the surprises but I highly doubt anyone is going to figure it out before the author wants you to.

On top of all the suspense and mystery there were some really great moments between Riya and Sawyer. I loved seeing how sweet Sawyer was Riya and there were so many swoon worthy moments I'm surprised my ovaries didn't explode right out of my body. I loved these two together and they are definitely up there on the list of Best Jessica Gadziala Couples.

Overall, I will recommend this book to everyone. It has the suspense that will keep you intrigued, the romance that will melt your heart, and the sexy Hero that you will want to jump. So don't miss out on this one!

Jaded Hearts

Signing with Brighthouse Records was supposed to be everything we ever wanted—our better life. Our chance at everything we never had but always wanted. All our dreams would finally come true and we were on top of the world. It was our chance at the happiness we never had in life. Our every desire was at our fingertips and the power of that feeling was all consuming. But then it took every dream we thought would come true and it slapped us in the face with the cold hard reality. Dreams were just that…something that floated on the cusp of untouchable, taunting you with every graze of your fingertips before slipping even further away. Happiness…that feeling is a joke. In the end it became painfully obvious that each of us would always have each other, but we would forever be alone.

EXCERPT
Prologue

Signing with the record company of our dreams should have been the best thing that ever happened to us.

And it was…for a short while anyway.

While the glitz and glamour of the fame’s promise was shining as bright as our stage lights we could forget where we came from and live in the glory. The money bought us every happiness we ever craved. Those false securities that you think will make your life better. The instant friends, lovers—you name it—would do whatever we asked just to spend a second in our presence.

We had it all.

The only problem was when we had those quiet moments in between the insanity. When we were slapped in the face with the reality that all we really had—all we could count on—was each other.

My brother, Weston, is the only constant I’ve ever had in my life. He’s the person that I know will never let me down and will always be my biggest support. We grew up with parents that hated us. Really…it sounds ridiculous, the notion that parents could hate their children, but ours did … no, do. They made no secret of it when we were younger. And they continue to attempt to pick at our very souls like the vultures that they are.

My earliest memory of them is somewhere around third or fourth grade. That was the year that they seemed hell-bent on reminding us that we had ruined it all for them. Constant screams and verbal lashings.

According to them, they were on the edge of fame and then we came along and it all went down hill. Even now, I still can’t understand how they came up with that logic. How we were to blame for their reckless behavior. The same reckless behavior that, in reality had ruined whatever path they might have traveled. It has nothing to do with us, but to them, we were essentially their bad luck.

When we hit middle school it got worse, but only because they knew that they could leave us for long periods and we wouldn’t die.

Our parents, like us, were born to be stars…or at least they assumed they were and they had no qualms about reminding us that fact daily. Unfortunately for them, they lacked the drive and ambition to never back down until they had everything they ever wanted. The first challenge that was thrown in their path they decided to take the low road full of scavengers and sinners.

Like I said, vultures through and through. Our dad knocked up mom in the early eighties, when big hair rock bands were all the rage and theirs was seconds away from signing the record deal that would make their careers.

Then they found out about us.

The twins that ruined it all.

And all those long nights performing in whatever local hole they could find, bouncing from town to town just waiting for their big break was washed away.

Mom was no longer the singer that men would lust over. Not when we ruined her body. And our dad was so deep in the bottle I’m not sure he realized he was swimming in it. Again, something that was blamed on us.

When their band fell apart, they decided hating us was almost easier than hating each other. They had a common goal in their blame and right or wrong, to them we would never be anything other than a reminder of why they aren’t living their dream.

Their band mates obviously didn’t share the same bond that Weston and I have with Jamison and Luke. God forbid I ever found myself in a position like my parents had been in, I know my boys would band together and the show would go on.

Because for us, this is it.

This is our future’s promise of a better life and even if for me it’s starting to look like more of a curse than a promise, it’s something that we would die before we gave up.

Unfortunately for me, I’m pretty sure that there are a few people that would love to make that happen.

I’m getting ahead of myself. You’re probably wondering who am I.

I’m no stranger to you. I’m on every magazine cover. You open social media and I guarentee you there is a spondered post about my group. Turn on the radio, boom – there we are. I’m everywhere.

I’m Wrenlee Davenport, lead singer of Loaded Replay, and I’ve learned the hard way that there is plenty of people in the world that would love to have a piece of me, but they don’t give one shit about the person behind the voice.

They see the persona. The fake me that the record label loves to market as the sexy singer with the body of a sinner and the voice of a saint, but for me—I’m probably always going to be that stupid little girl that believes that my prince charming will come riding in on his black horse—because really, black horses are so much more badass than white ones—and prove to me that every little jaded piece of my heart is worth loving.

And he will love me for me.

For Wren.

Not the Wrenlee that, for more times than I care to admit, has to drink herself stupid just to face this fucking life I’m living. Yeah… fame and fortune is far from everything I ever dreamed it was.

It’s my own personal hell and I pray that there’s something or someone out there that can prove to me that the world isn’t screwed because the majority of humanity is too busy licking the windows on the outside to see the beauty behind it. All they care about is what’s at face value when what matters is skin deep.

I should feel bad for prince charming. My knight in tarnished armor. Because he’ll have one giant battle on his hands to make me believe that there might be someone left out there that doesn’t just want a piece of me.

I've started to see these adult coloring books pop up everywhere lately and after getting this one I now know why. Because they are brilliant! I am not ashamed at all to admit I still love coloring just as much as I did when I was little but this book is ten times better than coloring one of my niece's Disney books.

What makes it even cooler is the fact that most of the pages have to do with books! Perfect for an avid reader and any romance lovers. The designs are really well drawn and it was fun to see the little things that had to do with some of my favorite books. I definitely recommend this coloring book because it's ridiculously amazing.

Exclusive Excerpt:

I need to remember to be careful with this girl. She's so... unsure of herself. She seems self-reliant, yet there's this undercurrent of doubt that I don't yet understand.

She walks across the studio and pulls a denim jacket from a small closet and shrugs into it, then picks up her bag and slings it over her shoulder. "Are you ready?"

I nod and follow her out, watching as she locks the door then tugs on it to make sure it's locked. We take the elevator down in silence then hit the sidewalk outside before she asks if we're walking or driving.

"Driving," I tell her, nodding to the parking spot I got in front of her building. I unlock the car and open the passenger door for her before walking around and getting behind the wheel.

"This is nice," she says, glancing around the interior of my Range Rover. "This is more James Bond than FBI though," she says, with a little wrinkle of her nose, her forehead creasing in concern.

"Are you disappointed?"

She shrugs. "It is a nice car," she says as she buckles herself in and crosses her legs, resting her hands on her knees. "But I don't think it's government-issued."

I laugh. "It's not. Does that disappoint you?" I ask, starting the car and merging into traffic.

"I guess it's okay." Another shrug.

I take a right onto the Schuylkill and ask if she's learned any new knock-knock jokes since I last saw her.

She turns her head and gives me a look. "Funny."

"I'm genuinely curious," I say. "You were killing it the other night."

"No. But speaking of killing, did you know that at any given time, there are between twenty and fifty serial killers in the United States? Did you know that?" She turns in her seat to look at me, her eyes wide with interest.

"That's quite the transition, from knock-knock jokes to serial killers," I comment while turning on the ramp to the I-676.

"Oh, yeah. Sorry." She shakes her head. "I just thought it would be fewer."

"Uh-huh."

"Like ten. I thought it would be ten. Maybe fifteen."

"One would think." I nod. Not really. Who thinks about this shit?
